We just upgraded from a 2005 390 DA to a 2008 48 DA. This is only our second weekend aboard and we are already in LOVE!! We have been boating since 1978 and this is our 7th Sea Ray. We will never own anything but. This seems liks a great site. Look forward to hearing from other Sea Ray owners.

Welcome and congrats on the new boat. Wanted to take an opportunity to send a link to the CSR Middle Chesapeake Gathering we have going on 7-9 June at Mears Kent Narrows. So far its 10 boats... You and any of your crusing buddies (sea ray or other) are welcome to joing. Hoping to get to connect screennames to faces, and also get to konw other folks on the bay. No charge for the event, just your slip fees. Here's a link to the event, and the contact/event info is in the first post on that thread.

Hello and welcome to CSR. Love the name, in fact that is the way I feel after my kids get done with me. BTW your previous boat is here at Gunpowder Cove Marina, I know the guy that bought it.
 
Thank you! We heard the 390 was going to to Gunpowder Cove. She was a great boat and I can assure you she was well cared for. Hopefully we will get to see her on the bay this summer. Have any idea what her new name will be so we will recognize her if we see her on the bay?

They have not named her yet; they had MarineMax removing the radar array and relocated GPS and anything else that was on the arch for clearance reasons with the R/R bridge. I personally would have moved marinas and kept her as is. The new owner’s last boat name was Naughty Dreams, so he might go with the same name, but last time I talked with him they had not decided.
 
I agree. Don't think I would have gone through all that .. but that was his decision. Hope to see you on the Bay this summer.

I'm in Rock Hall as well at Osprey Point Marina slip D1. Maybe we're neighbors?
