If there's anything you need, I work near Cherry Hill and live about 30 - 40 mins from work in PA.
Let me know.

Getting gas on Long Island is gut wrenching. Sat on line this AM four four hours waiting for the promised delivery, never showed. Then had brilliant idea to siphon some of the 150 gallons that are on Dasch Boat, wrong, spent better part of an hour at the boat yard. With the way the inlet is piped to the tank it seems impossible to get a hose past the 90 degree elbow at the top of the tank, all that gas and I can't get to it, anyone else have this issue
Thanks Marshall, Still no return calls or emails from Capt.Wally. :smt089
I hope that Sue & Him are OK.

I will be heading out tomorow morning to pull 75 gallons out of my boat. I think my fill is a straight tube so I will try that way if that dosnt work I'm just gunna disconnect sending line were it attaches to the engine and put a reducer on my pump and suck it out that way.
Many people had the same idea, but before proceeding try to evaluate if this is really the best option. Also don't forget last year's thread how (if I recall correctly) a marina or few boats in Long Island burned down with casualties.
I think it's a lot easier to drive for 30 extra min to a town with power and fuel than mess with the boat lines. When all power will be restored in few days (we're hoping) now you have to deliver that fuel back to the boat. I doubt that marinas will be very happy about this. Don't forget that doing something like this may violate your contract and marina has the right to kick you out of there for good and keep your deposit.
Don't just jump in to conclusions b/c you have immediate need of 15-20gal of gas. Usually there are number of options of getting things done. Getting fuel in the current conditions is not any different.
Whatever you guys do, just be careful and be wise.
We won't have gas in most areas until next week so family members who require fuel to get to work and run businesses will get my best effort. Like I said, I have a 150 gallons that I need to get to ASAP, the marina fire you mentioned was caused by employees cutting a fuel tank out of a boat with a grinder, I hope to approach this with a little more thought. At the very least I have learned that I don't need to spend money on locking gas caps.
