Sea Ray Homecoming Cruiser/Sport Boat Expo !! Here we go!

I especially appreciate the Sea Ray history book. That was a pleasant suprise. Looking forward to a good read, and looks like a good reference book for us with the classics.

Here are a few observations on Homecoming:

1. For those of you who didn't make the trip, you missed a great event.

2. I love the boat part of an event like this, but the highlight of the trip for me was getting to meet so many of you CSR members in person.

3. I appreciated being able to take my time looking at boats without a salesman hovering around or drooling on my shoes.

4. Sea Ray does it right....what a classy bunch or folks, all the way from the president of the company down to the very articulate and knowledgeable quality lady who gave up her day off to come in and guide tours thru the plant.

5. This whole Homecoming idea started in a phone call between 2 friends last April, but it turned out so well in the hands of Rob Noyes and his marketing folks that I hope we have started an annual event.

6. Do you know how hard it is to find things to stand behind for 2 days?

7. If I never hear "GO VOLS!" again it will be too soon..........maybe next time we need to all stay in the same hotel so the "GO Sea Ray!" crowd over powers the GO Vols crowd.

See you guys next year...............!

You mean like this?

Amen Frank!

Thank you Rusty and Searay for such a wonderful event!
It was a pleasure to meet so many of our fellow CSR members.
My family and I had a blast however we did miss all that couldn't make it.

If they have it again next year ??. We'll be there for sure !!!!.

Dee said if I keep hurting myself she's gonna start wrapping me in bubble wrap. :wow:

It was truly a pleasure meeting you Rusty!!! We had an amazing time and can't thank you and Sea Ray enough for everything! Safe travels to you and thanks again!!!!

Thank you Rusty and Frank for your insight and drive to start the ball rolling on a great event.

I am thrilled to meet so many CSR friends in person, too many to name one by one. You are an incredible group to be associated with.

Thank you Sea Ray, This event was unbelievably put toegether in such a short time.

We should recognize Casey, Jason, and Jim for making us all look good with their effort to show our appreciation to the Sea Ray folks.

Rick, Jason, Shawn, Mark, and others great work capturing the event in photos to share with those unable to make it. In a few days the thread at the event had 10,000 views, while the thread about planning the event have nearly 40,000 views.

I had the goods on Frank and was prepared to upload them when the CSR FBI shut down Photobucket and confiscated the pictures.

It was all of us. We wouldn't have been able to purchase the plaques without everyone's contributions. I think it was well worth it!

No thanks are necessary.......for those of you who may not know how the homecoming idea began, it was in a phone call with Rusty last April. We joked with each other about his being Mr. Sea Ray World Wide Ambassador and me being the Results Department and wouldn't a small boat expo be cool.....he suggested it to Rob Noyes in Knoxville and the idea quickly grew legs and became the Homecoming you all saw this weekend.

The real thanks goes to all of you who joined us on the river bank in Knoxville. If you had not made the trip, SR Homecoming wouldn't have been the success you all witnessed and all those salesmen who showed up hoping to capture us in Knoxville would have had a lot of barbecue to eat.

And for the record, I don't have a "thing" about my photo being taken........we just wanted an incentive for next year and thought a "Wilson" approach might be fun. So be thinking about next September, Rusty and I will try to twist Sea Ray's arm again, and come to Knoxville in 2013 and see the real Frank!

Thanks to everyone who stepped up and made the framed CSR burgees a possibility. Based on what I was told, we will now have two burgees hanging on the walls at SR's world headquarters and a third in Capt. Rusty's living room. If nothing else, some of the most important people at Sea Ray will have reminders that we as a group appreciate their efforts and the products they produce.

We just walked back into the house as we went up to the Great Smoky Mountains after the Sea Ray event. What a blast the Homecoming Event was! Thanks to Sea Ray as well as Rusty, Frank and Rob. I really hope that they do this again some day.
