Live from Knoxville 2012 - Biggest CSR Gathering Ever!

I am SOOOOO pi$$ed. I have wanted one of these for years, and have never been able to get Sea Ray of Knoxville or corporate (the last time I was there) to give me one.

If anyone from SR sees this and has another one available, I'll come pick it up! I'm right up the road! :smt089

Done tell any one but we got them right off the flag poll!

And please let me give my praise...

Thank you to Sea Ray. I know of no other company who would spend so much donating to US (food, fuel, time, wear & tear on otherwise brand new boats, etc.) just because. I know times are not the best right now, yet you all did nothing but cater to US... and you expected nothing in return from us (although you hope for future loyalty to the brand - I'm sure that will be there when the time comes).

Thank you to Rusty. Not only did you get this idea off the ground, you went above and beyond (mostly out of your element - unfamiliar place and mostly unfamiliar smaller boats) to ensure we had a great time. You helped most - if not all - of us. Personally, you left your duties to help tying up my boat to the dock with another employee and had a golf cart pick us up and return us to our boat since the admiral was on crutches. Again, you didn't have to do anything - let alone all of that.

Thank you to the rest of the employees at Sea Ray. Everyone I came in contact with was helpful, knowledgable, and courteous. So many asked if they could help the admiral with anything. They also assisted her on to and off of the 370 Venture (FYI, she sat down on the aft bench and said "I want this boat". (wonderful - I need to play the lottery now)

Thank you to all of the CSR members. You too offered assistance to the admiral and made this day (for us) enjoyable and very informative. You also made today's event a complete success. I had a great time meeting the ones I did... my apologies for not saying hello to the ones that I didn't. I saw old friends (Pirate's Booty, Loneranger) and met new ones (Spikedaddy99, MM, and all the others that I can't list off the top of my head), and I can't wait to do it all again.

If I can be a help to anyone (I have a limited amount of advice and boat knowledge that I will gladly share) or if anyone wants information on the area or about things to do next year when you come into my backyard, please let me know.

Thanks again!

Well all I can say is WOW ...what a great event...the Sea Ray folks were awesome, and the new boats amazing. The 510 was unreal, probably the coolest boat I have ever seen. Good times, great way to bring the summer to a close.

WOW!!!! Glad everybody had a great time. I wish I thought of somebody grabbing my pass and mailing to me. It would make a great souvenir. Kind of like a wish list.

Wrapping it up at the pool at the Hampton east
maybe no pics of this crowd with a pool and beer

I had a great time getting to know a bunch of you all. This event was an awesome way to get together. What better place than at the mother ship! Looking forward to next year. I hope to be able to spend some more time in the area next year.

The last post of the night for me
the pool party is done
Good night CSR

Let see how this does...Anyone see ANYTHING WRONG with this picture?

Maybe they should draw a big red line down the middle of the building so the Bayliner stays on it's side of the plant and the Sea Ray stays on it's side?

This has been awesome to read from afar. I wish I could have made it.

One thing that I haven't seen mentioned (I apologize if I missed it), is how Jim's beautiful boat did in the classic boat contest? Will we see the upcoming article in Sea Ray Living, and did Jim get part of his trip covered with the $250 first prize?

Mike

I think it's time to lock this thread.

Gary,

******** was looking every where for you. I told him you were around, just keep looking......

Heck no this thread is not going to get locked any time soon... Keep posting them pictures!!!

Seriously, It was a great time and good meeting you all! Good to put a face with a name, sorry I did not get to meet more of you. Mike made me stay up to late Thursday.... I'm getting to old for that stuff.....
Jim, good to hear you made it home safe and sound. How was the weather? Hope the heat did not build up too many bumps for you.

Already looking forward to next year!

Here is the post Rick made in the other thread. Thought is should be in this thread too.

Thanks! I was going to do that and forgot completely about moving it. I am home now and uploading the balance of the photos to photobucket.
