410 Sundancer/Express Cruiser and 400 Sundancer/Express Cruiser **Official Thread**

Looks great! Looks like the front of your fridge is "matte" rather than the black gloss fingerprint trap that I have!

Nice work Rick....I especially like the deep red throw rugs....I'll bet they add that special touch when your disco ball is spinning!

I am going to wire some blue LEDs into them.

It is a matte finish. I am trying to decide if I want to put SS panels on or add the Soverign Cherry Nuvacor panels back or just leave it alone.

Leave it alone. I think it looks good 'as is'.

Come by and do my fridge...use SS for mine and then you can see how it looks and make your decision.

I know....It's a very generous offer on my part....chalk it up to Northern Hospitality....

I vote SS, maybe you can set up a poll?

I used brushed SS from www.quickshipmetals.com for my Vitrifrigo and love the look. I think cherry panels would look great but only if you can match them perfectly to rest of the interior.

That SS looks awesome! Were you able to get the Vitrifrigo through the door or did you have to remove the cabinet like Rick?

Re: 410 Sundancer/Express Cruiser and 400 Sundancer/Express Cruiser **Official Thread

Hey Dom, long time no talk!

I had to take apart the cabinet too. Vitrifrigo dimensions suggest that it will fit through the door and it does. However, once you get it about half way in, can't get around fridge cabinet. I had help from their delivery guys and we did it in two hrs flat. Big improvement over the old Nevercold.

I have some of the Soverign Cherry Nuvacor that is the exact match. I actually recoverd my fridge cabinet while I had it out.

I am going to tape the old panels in place and take a couple of photos to see if I want to mess with this project any longer. The black is growing on me.

I looked back at all the pictures again... the black is still my favorite.

Has anyone replaced their shower sump float switches with an electronic one? I am looking at the water witch since it has a 7 year warranty.

The latch that holds my cabin door open is not working very well. It now closes at the slightest tug on it rather then when pressing the release button. Any thoughts on how to fix, or should I be searching the net for a new latch?

Model 230 with 7 year warranty. Works fine now. Time is the ultimate judge.

Rick,

I installed a Water Witch float switch this spring in my mid stateroom, and have had no problems. I like the way it keeps the pump running for 8 seconds after the water level drops, to fully empty the bilge. It reduces pump cycling, and makes for a dryer boat. No problems all year.....
