Wife's response when I suggested we trade ours up for one I saw 4 sale

Yep there's a KEEPER!... good luck what ever you decide to do...

I was expecting to open up the thread with a link to a youtube video of some women beating the crap out of some guy  What a lucky hubby, she is a keeper!
I hope you like shopping and I don't mean boat shopping....LOL

Gosh you guys, am beginning to think there must be something wrong with me......I am the one in our house always pushing for extra boat stuff and the bigger boat............I did get it though:)

My Galley Wench said pretty much the same thing. Gotta love an Admiral that will say things like that AND knows how to change an impeller!

I have probably already told the story about how I got the boat I have now so please bear with me if you have heard this before.

We were out in my brand new 24' Glastron that I bought only 6 months before and there were 3-4 foot swells. The Admiral took it like a champ but when we got back to the marina she got off the boat and from the dock she told me: "I AM NEVER GETTING BACK ON THAT F***ING BOAT! YOU NEED TO BUY A BIGGER BOAT!!!" :wow:
well...... yes dear :smt038

Now I have to keep telling her no because she wants an even bigger boat. That darn GoFirstClass keeps posting pictures of his floating palace and the Admiral keeps saying "thats what we need"......:smt013

It sounds crazy but I love the boat I have and I really want to finish it. When its the nicest most well equipped 300DB on the water I'll consider selling it and getting a bigger boat. But right now its like a quest or something...... I want to see it as perfect as it can be. I'm probably nuts :smt101 but thats how I feel.

Similar story. 1st boat was a 24 footer. We hit big swells, the dog threw up...it wasn't comfortable. When we got back from the 10 day trip, Admiral says we need a bigger boat. I said ok...

We found out the 370 I our marina that we've always admired was for sale. I told her..."we need to buy it.". We now own a nice 95 370 Sundancer that's loaded and in great shape.

Our 3100 Thompson (great boat) is on its winter blocks...for sale!

I love my wife.

You're supposed to consult with your wife before getting a bigger boat???? :huh:I've found forgiveness easier to get than permission...has worked so far.

Words to live by....hahaha:grin:

I always tell people I'm happily unmarried! I can make my own choices, good or bad, and still keep 100% of my assets...

Seriously though I've got a great girl and she just stands back and shakes her head at my boating addiction...

An addiction is the only way to accurately describe a boater's commitment....or need to be committed, not sure which.

Very good point... I spent all weekend on the boat. Now I am home and all I can think about is just getting through my week so I can get my next boat fix...
