Transom mounted grill side tables

Thank you all for the feedback. This final mounting is great. The only thing I will change on the tables to go out for sale is just narrow the mounting of the two legs a little. I measured to avoid the transom locker door latches, but they are a little too close. Other than that it was sturdy enough for my 220lb ass to sit on.
Here are the latest pics .................

Nice job my friend.

Keeps getting better and better. I don't know if this exists but what if that 60 degree angle base was available with a hinge? Legs would lock down at the 60 degree angle to the transom, but could also fold up under the table for storage? Just thinking out loud.

I haven't found one. A similar hinge is on the transom seat of my boat, but it's 90. I think if it did exist it would continue to escalate costs and the way the legs will snap into the clips for storage seems the most logical. Thanks for the feedback though.

Maybe I could help ya with that Todd. Perhaps a locking / folding starboard hinge? Those stainless fittings are gonna kill your margins and maybe I could help you design up and prototype a few for ya? You could still use the stainless tubing if you wanted. I also am a Corian / Star Board distributor if you wanted to do a nice Corian insert, or maybe a removable / washable starboard inset?

Shoot me an email.

Great looking Job Todd, if you could look at a freight cost to Australia, I may be interested, rather than trying to find someone here to do the same thing for me, as it is pretty much exactly what I had been thinking of having made

You may want to look at format of your website as well. The marine products page does not come up very well on the iPad. It is overlapping. Some of the text blocks cannot be read as they are covered. By the way though some of the products there look great

Thanks for the feedback both of you. I'm heading out the door right now, but appreciate it.

I took the table down to measure and take pictures on my cousin Brady's 05 320DA. It looks very good.
Have a look and let me know

.....carry on........

Hi Ken
All orders placed through March will be $150 + shipping and tax. I will find out what shipping is tomorrow. After that $175 + shipping and tax.
Thanks again

Coming along nicely Todd. We just had Corian counter tops put in here at the house. What about routing in a shallow groove to catch any juices or small drips? My Magma grill has a clip-on tray that has a small cutting board piece with shallow grooves that keep meat juices and such from running onto the boat.

Maybe a piece of 1/8" or 1/4" starboard to drop in? I know ya hate to cover that beautiful wood work, but might be nice for cooking and then put away for drinks or entertaining?

I will be offering accessories to add on, ie: cup holders, trays like you mentioned etc. For the base price though, I'm happy with this and as you mentioned we can provide add ons. Thanks SS>

I was thinking for as cheap as the plastic material is, it might be an up-sale for ya too. Cup holder sounds like a perfect idea. (beer holder?). Sounds like you're coming along nicely with a quality product. Call me some time and maybe I could share some ideas on opening your profit margin a bit.
