Stainless steel windlass switch covers

The base and cap are milled. Then the hinge pieces are milled, assembled and then welded to the cap and lid. Then electro-polished

Todd been watching your progress on the covers... quick question are they a solid piece of SS that is milled? Or is there an assembly?

If the price point gets a bit lower I would be in and may be able to get some more people interested.

I would like a pair. I know they are pricey but they will last forever and there is "nothing like them nowhere."

I wonder if we needed more numbers if someone cross posted this on another site like thehulltruth, would that help? Imtra products are used on a lot more boat manufacturers than just sea ray.

Thank you. That would be great. I think it would help. At this point I'm working to see if I can get the price down to around $150ea/$300pr. This will mean I will need to get more orders. Once I confirm I can post that there to see if we can get the volume. Also Henry's newer model cap showed up today for the '07 and newer models. I will begin to figure that one out as well.

Thank you all again for the interest. Stay tuned.

This might be a stupid question
but i have one windlass switch, why would i need a pair and why would anyone need a pair for that matter?
Maybee im missing something

Typically one is up and the other is down. I'm not sure what setup yours has.

Ya mine is up only
thats what i was missing
im pretty sure im in for one but i will measure mine sunday to be sure

Put me down for two if we can get the cost per pair around $300.

Heck, I'm in for 300 if you get em done before I get rid of her!

Hey All.
I'm sorry but this project just won't be able to go any lower. I really appreciate the interest.

So does this mean we can still get them done for $400/pair with 100 order? Or are you bailing on the entire operation?

Longranger,
I can do them at the $400/pr if I can get 100 orders yes. I just could not get the costs down far enough for $300/pr. It's bottomed out at the $400/pr., but it may be difficult to get the 100 orders mark. Thanks again
