Todd, Nice work. They will look awesome. It seems the new trend in boat building is making the engine vents more stylish. I actually like it. Once you get these babys rolling you can add a LED option to really add some bling. Let me know when you start making windlass foot cover switches in stainless, I'd buy them for sure. Sort of crazy that you can get the bezel in chrome (not stainless) and the cover I did not see in anything than plastic. If you guys make these in stainless I would be interested.
I have totally different vents but fotunately have had no problems with them. BTW the cobalts engine vents are powder coated aluminum from way back in 1995.

They can be powder coated after they are made. I will find out that cost. This is the longest lasting way to do this.

There is a minimum for powdering coating. It would add around $90-100 for the 6 you're interested in.

Doc, yes they are just unscrew and install. There is a sticky seal stuff on the back side on mine so maybe it should be resealed ...

How come my vents are bigger and cannot get any replacements? Mine measure 5 7/8 by 14 7/8 out side flange.
Hum? I'm sure yours would be the same as mine... I bought the ones at WM and they were not even close to fitting...
