I like the name!
THANK YOU
I figure that I have worked 30 years giving other peoples issues and schedules a priority
It was time for a priority of my own and it is justified.

Love the before / after shots! Our boats pretty much the same vintage and the teak on mine is pretty sun bleached and weathered. Refinishing it is on my list of to do's.

Man she looks good. Even got the antennas pointing in the right direction.
Sorry Jason, I know you pull yours into the covered slip.

getting started on her again slowly
installing the camper enclosure, a marine radio, depthfinder, and new upholstery and carpet.
doing teak flooring like the steps and rear locker up the center of the deck too.
the old barn she lives in is just too dark for any pics right now.

I have this same boat and am really curious on what you did to make those hatches look as good as new again?

built new ones ....the rear one was missing and had a piece of pressboard from a desk or tabletop cut down and laind in the hole
they are 1/2 marine plywood with 1/2" teak tounge N groove screwed onto them.
the entire center of the deck over the fuel tank will be done like that in the spring with new carpet on both sides

Thank you, What about the three small ones behind the rear seat across the top of the transom? Mine seem to be about 3/4" and have three small teak rails screwed to them. (I have the teak rails) I could just use marine plywood but they have sorta a white veneer on top and bottom side and don't know the best way to recreate that look.

I cut new 3/4 marine plywood and padded them with HD foam then covered them with a good m/arine grade vinyl then screwed the teak strips back to the top and cut teak trim for around the edges

Thank you, I think this is what I will do as well, I need to have all the seats redone and if I go with a like color it should look sharp back there. The model I have is a little different from yours. No carpet or table, mine is yellow with white topside. I really love the looks of the older boats and get lots of nice comments. This boat is worthy of throwing some cash at.

Mine had no table ...I built it from teak and about 15 bucks worth of RV hardware from Ebay
I have about 60 bucks and a little time in it
