Hey guys, It’s the time of the year when we should take out our calendars and cruising guides to start planning our upcoming season trips. With few threads for other CSR Rendezvous already in full swing so, let’s not waste anytime and start planning our LI Rendezvous 2012.

Here’s the link to our last year’s event, see my post (#467) http://clubsearay.com/showthread.php...886#post505886 and there are few more where other folks posted very nice pictures as well.

Date: Friday August 3rd

Location: Montauk Yacht Club http://www.montaukyachtclub.com/

Group banquet
: As always we're planning to have group banquet on Friday (the day of arrival) at 6pm. If any changes to the weather we'll either move the time or will move it to Saturday also at 6pm.

Please go to the last page and post your input and add your information if you wish to be added to the list as a participant.

VHF Communication:
72 - primary channel to communicate with the group.
69 - backup channel if we get too much noise on 72.
16 - is always on. This will be the channel to use in case if we don't get respons on 72 or 69. Once the communication is established with a vessel we'll ask to switch to 72 or 69, whichever will be the better option at the time.

Early in August is good for me - the last 2 weekends are not. The 3rd would be fine.

I'll bring spare fuel for Rod...

Dale

Sounds great, Dale. Looking forward to tour session #2 of your supercharged 340DA.

Alex,

The 3rd is my middle guys birthday but, It's better than the 11th!! I still get a shot at some action!! Woo Hoo!!!

As far as location goes, MYC was nice but, do we want to try another location this year? I thought that the location changed each year to expose us limited boaters to new sights. I am actually cool with MYC personally because I would like to do BI this year too.

What they really need is some critter turds here...

You have to stop with the critter turds - they're everywhere on the site now...

Who started the whole boiled peanuts thing, anyway? Was it Frank? Somebody said he eats these a lot....

Now who was it??

Todd, you're not easy to please. :smt101

Besides being nice marina in a good location we're always limited to those that can comfortably accommodate group of about 20 or so boats. We got very nice treatment at MYC and I was under the impression that everyone was happy with the choice, so I assumed that we wanted to comeback. If majority will vote for a new location I'm good either way.

oh God...

Can we rename this the "spineless thread"?

Gary, the pot isn't even on the stove yet and you're already stirring it. Oh boy....

You know there is always that difficult one in the bunch...Atleast we know on our thread it is Todd!:smt043 Sorry dude!

BTW, Alex we are in but still in the firming up stage of our trips, maybe Block from MYC??

Larry, I'm always ready to go to Block. Hopefully I'll make it there more than once this year.

Wow, You guys are killing me!! I love MYC!!! I'm fine with it!! As Gary said (I can't believe I'm qouting him) "Nothing to see here , move on!"

As I've said before, my wife is not that much of a boater. I don't want to give her any reason to 86 the trip this year. That's why I mentioned my date issue, that's all. I also only assumed you guys change the location because it moved from the first year to the second. Bring on the Yacht Club!! I will not make another comment here until August!!

Put me down for this one, Although I don't know if I'll be able to take the following week if you do Block again. Kids have activities that week.

Todd, does it mean that you're in?

Greg, I got you on the list on the first page. What could be more important activity than taking your kids to the Block?
