What's with the lights in the vents on the side?

I guess I just wanted something to glow on the water to give it that subtle ambiance in conjunction with the moonlight while entertaining on a cocktail cruise with close friends...

KK. I think you did a very nice job... looks great...

i know first hand about the blues. cant be underway and run them. if you are at anchor or moored at the dock then it is fine... but absolutely not while underway. i have blue underwater led's and have been pulled by the wildlife as well as the sheriff asking me to not run them. i have learned my lesson... no blues...

KK,
Looking' mighty fine there sir. You've done yourself proud. A simple call to the appropriate water enforcement agency would resolve any question about blue lights being a problem. If they object, tell them you are getting your boat ready for Marti Gras early. How can they argue with "Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez."

Nice job....I'm sure you'll get tons of compliments on the install and the look. I love the blue lights and the ones in the vents add some special touch. Enjoy....

Thanks Guys for all the kind words. The guy I bought them from is a local dealer / installer so you'll have to find a dealer in your area (for those who are interested)
Here's a link to the installer's page.

Although they might not be legal underway I like the blue accent in the blower area. I think the project turned out nice and I bet you will forgot how long it took to install once you're sitting there with some friends and they are complimenting you on how they look.
