Official 370 Sundancer thread

Gene,

Floor looks great! Is the flooring a marine grade maple or residential material? Veneer, solid, synthetic?
I would like to install new flooring as well and I am stuck on what to use?

It's a residential floor, but solid material 3/8" thick, not veneered. The finish includes some aluminum oxide coating and is very durable with a 10 yr warranty (like I'll ever see it). But I coated everything to seal the wood where it was not finished prior to gluing it down with a urethane glue (very sticky). Don't think I will have any problems since it is not a synthetic or veneer.

whats the biggest display, anyone has installed I thinking of adding e120 but dont know if will fit?

Gene, thanks for fixing the site. Last time I checked it all looked good. Nice job on the floor I've been thinking about doing the same thing but just haven't pulled the trigger. It really helps seeing another boat with the maple interior and a maple floor. Thanks, mark

does anyone know how to remove the salon panasonic tv/vcr?..i removed 2 screws from under the front lip but i see these small blocks of wood towards the back.i presume they are clamping down on the shelf the tv sits on.do i need to remove those too?..or will the shelf part slide out with the tv and all?....thx

The shelf part will come out with the TV. You just have to put some pressure on it to get it to pop loose. The black paint they put on it at the factory makes the wood stick together.

Prayers for all you east coasters with Irene. May you be spared any damage. We are from Mississippi and Coastal Alabama and had our fair share of issues, with Ivan and Katrina.

Praying for an easterly turn.

I'm stuck in San Diego with no way back before the storm hits so my wife and dock mates are going to secure Duckee for me. One guy is going to haul my dinghy and outboard and another is going to take down all the canvas and secure the cushions. Thank God for good dock mates. If I could drive back in time I would be there since they won't let me fly. There's nothing like riding out a hurricane in your boat.

Gene,

I live in San Diego and just purchased my 1997 370. It's in Harbor Island near the airport. I'll buy you lunch or dinner if you wnat to spend an hour or two going over it.

Guys,

I need to replace my ladder it's all cracked with broken pieces and falling apart from salt! Any idea to buy the same original one online?
Thanks!
Benny

If you are referring to the swim step ladder call GG Schmitt 717-394-3701 they were the manufacturer. Old part #L08E3103, New #L08E3105. You can buy only the the 3 steps (add RP1 to the part number) or the whole ladder. It cost about 1/2 from them as it does from Marine Max.
