Adult Beverage and Type of Boat?

Dark'n'stormy's all night long. Barritt's Ginger Beer and of course Gosling's Black Seal dark rum... yummy. Otherwise Sam Summer for breakfast.

Ahh, the perfect day. Beautiful skys, blue water, warm sun, anchored for the weekend in a quiet cove awaiting friends’ arrival. Start the morning with a spicy Bloody Mary, (wow bacon is over the top but shrimp are the king) move on to a nice micro-brew cream ale heading toward lunch. After lunch move on to a Scottish brown ale, or maybe Blue Moon with an orange slice, while smoking a mild cigar. Late afternoon tired of beer? Have a summer tonic, good vodka over muddled mint, cubed cucumber, tonic and simple syrup with snacks of cheese, shrimp and artichoke dip. That, and maybe another beer, will get you to dinner. While prepping the steaks, potatoes, and grilled French bread, a plain vodka tonic to cleanse the palate. After dinner an nice scotch or bourbon with a strong bodied cigar starts the night off right.

Now that a read that when would I drink a margarita? Martini? Cognac? Rum? Caribbean fruit drinks? I love them all!!! Thank god I’m anchored for the weekend

Bloody Mary - substitue the tomato juice with clamato, sub the vodka with beefeaters gin, a splash of claussen pickle juice, worchestershire, lemon pepper, cocktail olives, tabasco, and crazy salt on the rim....monitor blood pressure!

I like any cold beer without fruit in it.

Monaco Mike, you painted a nice picture there! I can't wait to get on the hook this weekend. I might have to stock up on some micro-brews. Each for a different part of the day!

Also I forgot to mention a favorite boat drink we make, Dirty Bananas... basically a mudslide with a banana in the mix. Very good, a dessert drink for sure.

Nauti Mojitos...
2.5 cups Bacardi Light
1.5 cups Splenda in 1.5 cups of boiling water
1 qt club soda.

Fill a pitcher and pour over muddled lime, mint and ice. Won't stain, low calorie, and goes really well with beach music.

Big Black Dick Rum from Grand Cayman Island with Coke

Got to try clamato in my Mary.

I like V8 spicy, lots of old bay, cayenne pepper, tabasco, horseradish, coriander, celery seed all garnished with fresh shrimp.

Zing Zang bloody Mary mix for the morning on the hook. add some spicy pickled Okra, and a shot of Grey Goose.

Modelo in cans always kept cold
in the fridge for daytime activities.

Grey Goose and soda after sunset.

Any beer. Cans only for my can crusher. It's amazing how many crushed cans you can fit in one of those small garbage cans. Recently Miller Lite (Sorry Marshall) Years ago it used to be Rolling Rocks. I'm low rent.

Man, you have a good memory. :) Sorry if I offended you several months ago with my comment, I was not in the best of moods that day....

Margarita for me, whilst at the slip, can't do it at anchor unless I'm going to be there for four our five hours, as one knocks me out. (I'm a lightweight when it comes to alcohol)
Otherwise, Miller lite is my choice after washing the boat, or riding 20 miles on the bike.

My drinking is very sporatic these days, as I've been doing weight watchers since Feb. Margaritas have quiet a few points, but Miller lite is only 3 pts. So far, it must be working, I'm down 45 lbs since changing my eating habits. Turns out, I just needed the "stop eating, you fatass" approach.

Getting back to the drinks on board, all pop/soda is gone, banished. Lots and lots of ice cold water bottles take preference now.

Good for you Scotty, I think I Caught the 45 lbs you Lost since I retired! :wow:

Corona Extra with lime for the hot sunny days
Capt Morgan and Coke for the afternoon
Zing Zang and Smirnoff for the evening with some Lime flavored chips and salsa
