I have attempted to get some help to delete attachments but so far there has been no response. Your help would be greatly appreciated since I was able to manage attachments prior to the upgrade.
Thank you.
Bob

KRB64, Go to settings then into General settings then scroll down to Thread Display Options.

Click on the Thread Display Mode then click on Linear- Newest First and then go to the bottom of the page and click on Save Changes. :smt001.

This should put all new replies on top of each thread.

:smt024Wayne, Has Jim put you on the payroll yet for running the PC help desk ? LOL God bless you, solved my problems.

Any idea why the site wants point out posts from the gas engines forum to me?

Yes, I am logged in. Only posts from the gas engines forum are pointed out with the extra line you see (twice) in my screen capture.

Never mind. Just figured it out. It was wrapping around at my default browser size and creating the extra line because that forum name is longer. Duh.

The site should now be backward compatible and work with IE7. Those that were running IE7 and could not see the post date, time, etc (The yellow bar above post), could you please verify. I am using IE7, IE8, Firefox, and Chrome, and the site appears to be correct in all instances now.

All machines, OS's, and versions of IE, including 7&8, now show the date and post bar!!! Thank you!!!

Any suggestions for why the page links that offer "1 2 3... 17" will not display on the search results page but do display on the thread pages on my Blackberry?

When trying to send a private message with a picture, the Insert Image icon only allows a URL: entry. A regular post allows that and the ability to upload from your computer. Is the computer option not allowed for private messages?

It won't be fixed as it was never a option (To my knowledge, vBulletin has never allowed attachments in private messages. Reason being, most people do not take the time to delete their private messages, and allowing attachments in the private message area would utilize a lot of hard drive space if they were never purged).

So, I guess I am a little confused as to what you are asking, or you are confused in thinking it was once a option. :) If by chance it were a option, it was a outside add-on that (up to the time of this post), I have checked and there is none available for this version of vBulletin. Should Jim come across one, and like me to install it, I would be happy to.

In the Community link in the navbar above, Friends and Contacts. I don't use the buddy / friend list (or have enough to know if that shows that they are online, but I think it does.)
