Boating Videos....post them !

Still a no-go for me. I tried posting the direct link and got basically the same thing.

Then I tried to embed the link and got this message...

"Forbidden

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

I guess I'm just going to have to stick with posting the links. <SNIFF> <SNIFF >

Gofirst, your links work when I use the procedure I described. I notice the video url is showing as a link when you insert it between the and it is not all tightly together on the same line.

I used a JVC something or other which uses DV tapes (digital video). It interfaces with the pc via firewire and vids are made with Windows movie maker. Click and drag stuff. Pretty simple. No image stabilization (as you can see). Also doesn't crop out fingers!

The camera has since taken a dump and I have to replace it. Not sure what to get. Thinking about a SD card camera. We'll see.

Still can't post a vid. Hmmmmm?

Cool video Quint. Neat to see my boat in there too.

Here's just a quick one of my last cruise to the ramp for haul out in November.

I finally broke down and bought a Macbook. I have about 50g of boating video I can now edit.
Here's a little tour of the lake I keep the 290 on. The tune is one of mine. Feel free to post up your videos.

Nice video and audio!

iMovie is pretty fun and easy. Keep them coming!

Nice the way you have your own music to avoid any copyright issues.

Hope you don't mind a re-run, since this late in off season, I'm running a little lean on fresh material. :smt089

At any rate, I think this is still one of my best videos to date...

FWIW, my embedding YouTube suggestions...

1) View the desired video on YouTube, then select and copy the video I.D. from the URL address.
The I.D. is everything between the first "=" and the first "&" (if present)

2) Create your post here, click the YouTube button, paste.
NOTE: For some reason, whenever I do this process here, an extra space is added before the ID. This must be removed.

Away Point....I want your boat.

Sweet video. I hate to use you but do you have any pics of that burgundy 300 weekender that your running with. I like their boat and am making some changes to mine. Always good to compare.
