For those in the snow climates just a little thread to pass the time till spring.

Let's see what you have and keep posting through the winter as it's added to.

Here's mine from Dec 25-26, 2010 and it's still coming. I also changed my signature to update the latest condition. 8 inches on the back desk and yard light.:wow::wow:

My son and his family are living in Cary, NC. Started snowing there last night. Not sure they will make up to see us for post Christmas.
I am in Maryland just west of the Chesapeake Bay. Snow is coming today around 3 or 4 pm. My Christmas wish - it rains hot water!!!!! :smt038

They are calling for 18 inches in NJ starting tonight.

Mashed Potatoes snow on the top of Smuggs this morning.
It was -5 on the drive up, but 4 when we got to the mtn, then it went up to 11 by noon. Great skiing, none of the condo folks came out till after 10!!! till then, it felt like we had the mtn to ourselves!

re: Snow in Alabama - I have a friend in Huntsville, and she sent me pics of the snow they got there. She said they hadn't had a white christmas since '63 there.

Who wants to live in the South with all that snow. Had a few flakes this morning, on top of three inches from the first of the month.

I live in the snowbelt area of NY and I'm NOT getting anything . :smt021
I should have about 3 to 4 ft of snow by now !!.. I can see the grass on my lawn. :wow:

Here are some shots of my front and back yards so you can see that I don't even have to leave the house to enjoy winterscapes!

Very Cool pictures, pun intended. I was depressed until I seen Rick's Sundancer. Now not so much.
I'm doing a home office today. 6 days off and I going cabin crazy. The admiral is afraid to come around me in anything but in full body armour and I have been banned fron the bed room for actions unbecoming a gentleman.:wow: Wind is blowing at 35mph. May need to go bust some snow drifts this after noon to break the boredom.

Yep, I heard it was only the second "white Christmas" on record. Here in Huntsville, we had 4" in the backyard. Most of the grass is showing again and rain to come through tomorrow. So, hopefully it will all be gone soon.

It was awesome having a white Christmas!

If it make you feel any better we had about 10 inches of snow on the 20th (about 20 miles from home and the lake and 2000 ft higher) . And this is mid summer for us down under!

Mind you we were out water skiing again on the 23rd. and tomorrow is forecast to be about 90 degrees.
