Touch my junk and I'll have you arrested!

An easy solution, anybody who wants to fly safe and not worry about bombs, etc go thru the required security on the left, anybody who doesn't care about flying safe go thru the line on the right, no waiting ,no scanning,no pat downs, just walk right on the plane and make sure you bring your own pilots, etc. Would that make you guys happy? to me it's a no brainer and we shouldn't be having this conversation

As long as the line on the "right" includes those of us with "concealed carry permits" and allows us to bring our own favorite "smoker" along!!

Twomad, that's a great idea, if you can't participate in the discussion with anything meaningful to say, then stay the hell out of it.

He is not going to have anything meaningful to add- Bottom line, if this was going on under a Repub administration, this would not be a question at all for all Libs including those here on CSR. They, along with the rest of the Libs, ACLU, etc, would be out SCREAMING, PROTESTING, RALLYING, and other wise Raising Hell against this.

Since it is being done under the Obama admin, it is "Best Practice" for safety and Completely Acceptable.

This gal beat the scanners, she wore a bikini

As I said before, just the fact that we are having this discussion and controversy illustrates the bad guys are winning. We have had to change our standard of life when we should be changing theirs.

Agree.

This is only the latest in a string of "changes" that are not for the better.

Profiling is OK but you really need to put them through the scanner and then frisk them. Who knows what's under all those feathers. And we already know they will commit suicide to bring down a jet.

Hey Twomad, you seeing this? It's another plot to bring down the government.

Merry Christmas !!!
(and to my non religous friends.... Happy Saturday)

So this goes to the theme we have been discussing elsewhere: Like the mandatory purchase of car insurance and paying of property taxes . .you have a choice. You don't have to subject your self to this stuff. You can choose not to fly.

We are moving well down this slippery slope, are we not? How do we draw the line?

I agree with you on that and I really don't have an issue with TSA screening but that calendar was hilarious, right? :smt043
