We are having some crazy weather up here. Can anyone identify this white stuff on my boat?

Darn right. We live in an area that doesn't usually get much snow or cold temps. Right now it's 28°, the wind is strong out of the north and it's been snowing almost all day. Here are a couple of pics I took at 4:00.

Right now we have about 4"-5" on the ground with another 3"-6" expected.

I just wanna go boating.

GFC - Looks like the wet heavy variety too...I bet you're glad to be in that massive structure of a covered slip you have! (saw it on another thread...wow)

So I click the link thinking I might learn something about GW and what do I find...NOTHING, except Fox News bashing...lol:huh:

"A rise in global temperature can create all sorts of havoc, ranging from hotter dry spells to colder winters, along with increasingly violent storms, flooding, forest fires and loss of endangered species."

Hmm...I wonder if this was going on long before we had cars and boats and all those evil things that pollute that your not supposed to have, that is...unless of course...your name is Al fleeced the people Gore:smt013:smt013 Did you not see Ice Age:lol:

But now I am starting to understand lib thinking, "we have to pass it before we can know whats in it" Sorry, I couldn't help myself I needed the laugh before I start this day..going to be a long one:smt101

BTW, pretty white stuff on that evil water/air polluting boat you got there...lol j/k Have a nice day!!

I think we are getting the tail end of your storm, thanks so much! Cold and raining here with lots of snow where it belongs....in the mountains.

According to our weather people here this storm and cold air is supposed to sink in over Oregon/NorCal later this week. The "best" is yet to come for you guys..... yuck

I'll let you know. I'm going down to the boat this afternoon to make sure everything is OK. I left the heat on in the boat so I'm not worried about the interior. I am going to take a broom down with me to brush off any accumulations of snow that might be there.

The snow is actually not very heavy. Too cold for it to be a wet snow. Temps have been running in the 20's to low 30's. With the strong north winds we had last night I don't expect much snow has accumulated on the roof over the slip or on the boat. I'm sure glad I got all the decorations for the Christmas boat parade finished this past weekend. I'd hate to be out there now putting them up.
