Hi all, New to the site but not boating. Wife an I, well i owned a 2008 z-6 nitro that got scrapped out hitting a UFO first trip out this year. Well we search and decided to upgrade and found a 35DA in PERFECT shape. We had a quick summer with her and we are addicted with cruising and enjoying all the room this vessal has to offer. Personally I enjoy the size "WOW". The wife on the other hand loves the fact is has a bathroom. Im sure there are others out there in the same boat so to speak. Anyways, just wanted to say hi and do a little intro. Hope to "sea" a few members on lake michigan in the spring. Hopefully we will have a few upgrades to show you when we launch her for our second season......

Welcome aboard WAVEDANCER37.....

What is a Z-6 Nitro?....Bass Boat I believe. That's a big step to a 350 DA. Enjoy! My Carlson CV-23 seems small now compaired to the 270/290 DA. I was not sure we would enjoy cruising but it's been fun so far. Just picked mine up at the end of June. I had to get a bigger tow vehicle before I made the move to a larger boat. I have a wet slip but like to trailer to larger water once in a while. My 2003 Excursion Limited is rated for 12,000lbs so I'm good to go and 4 low is nice on all ramps....still have the CV-23 for sking, Mike.

Welcome Aboard! What part of the lake do you cruise? We are located out of Hammond, stop in for an adult beverage if you are ever close! - Jeff

You are correct, it was a bass boat with LOA of 18' outfitted with an optimax 90. She was a great boat while we had her but she rests in the boat graveyard these days at only 2 years old. We also enjoy cruising as often as we can and have only made 1 real trip to date but will def be making some bigger trips in the summer of 2011. As far as towing, I do miss being able to take the boat to any body of water we wanted but with all the ammenities this new boat has its easy to over look they little flaw, lol.

For now she is located in ST JOE MI, we cruise as often as poss anywhere from mich city to southaven and will be making our first cross lake journey to chicago in the summer of 2011. We are excited about that trip but not excited to see the gas bill after arriving back to our home port, lol. Thanks for the invite for the adult bev. We allways have a nice stock pile just for those reasons... Hope to see ya guys on the water in 2011....
