The '07 260 and '08 240 both look like they have bolt on platforms but either way the specs list them as having the same overall length.
So again, and appreciate advice;
What boat would you guys prefer, money aside, a 2007 240 with 330hp, a 2007 260 wuth 316hp, or a 2008, like new230 260hp (cheap...I know I said money aside)
And why one our the other...still don't see advantage of 260
As I said before you need to decide what you want. Tower or Windlass, trailer, etc , etc. They are all about the same.
The only advantage in the old style 260SD was if you wanted the 496 Mag.
The 230SD is not the same boat as the 240 or 260 I thought you did not want a 22' boat?

240 with a trailer. As the others have said -- the 230 isn't in the same class. The 240 has the best layout of any deck boat by a long shot. The reason it was Sea Ray's most popular model is because everything about the boat makes sense.
