What a baby! Screamed like a little girl, you'd thought the shark bit his finger off! :smt043:smt043:smt043

That's what wire cutters are for, there is no hook worth that, cut the darn thing off and throw him back in, the hook will rust off and the shark will not be any worse for wear.

You can just see that coming can't you. Good thing the glove was on his other hand. That way it doesn't get torn up by those nasty teeth.:smt043:smt043

It should have bit his finger off. He was mutlating the damn thing trying to get the hook out.

When I went on a fishing trip off the coast of Mass. the crew on the boat would hit the sharks that we brought in with a baseball bat. Then they would bend their nose back until their jaw broke and throw them back in. They never really explained why when I asked, but I was only 11 at the time.

I have never fished for shark on purpose. Any time we catch one on the line, the mate all ways pulls him up far enough to get to the hook and cut the line as close as he can and drops the fish back in. The one time we did bring in a large 6 ft it was killed on board and we brought it back and one of my customers took it home with him to his wifes school for show and tell day.
