Any Lake Lanier boaters on here?

I'm at Holiday Marina.

Hello, I am interested in the purchase of a 370DA that is located on Lake Lanier at Holiday Marina. I live in Texas and was wondering if anyone is going to be in the area if you could take a look see at the vessel and see what kind of shape it's in before I fly out myself.

1998 370DA, tan canvas, "Life is Good".

Thanks for your assistance.

Marine Max showed me that boat 4 weeks ago, it's a very clean boat that has been well cared for. If you want a more specific description I would be glad to go look at it and give you a description of it over the phone.

Thanks for the reply. I spoke with the owner several weeks ago and he advised that it was a private sell but I also so it on Marine Max so not sure what is going on there. I've tried to call him the past two days but no response. If you don't mind that would be great. Just would like direct communication from someone who has laid eyes on it to determine if it is worth pursuing

I'm going to try to go to the lake this afternoon, if you'd like, I can call you to coordinate a better description of the boat. PM me a phone number and I'll do the same.

I guess the owner is trying to sell it apart from MM, I don't blame them, MM wanted $3500 minimum to sell my boat which is worth around $8-9K IMO...no idea how much they would want for a boat in that price range... Of course there's no problem getting in touch with MM and they do stand behind what they sell. Private owners can be interesting to deal with and impossible to get in touch with.

I was wondering if it's worth selling my 270 SD at this time of year or holding on to it till next year and see if I get to use it more. My wife pointed out to me how much it costs to keep it and use it just 5 or 6 times a year. My new job has had me traveling most of the summer and the boat went unused. Also if I do decide to sell it now what do I ask for it. I don't want to ask too much or too little.
With my luck I will sell it now and want to buy one really soon and pay alot more and get alot less. I love the boat just a time issue.
Suggestions?

We keep our boat at Bald Ridge. Took it to Sunset Cove last night for dinner. A few months ago I heard they were going to stay open year round but last night the waitress said they close December 1st. :(

Regards,
Capt. Jason

Now is the time to list your boat for sale. Atlanta Boat Show is next weekend, And then the Maimi Boat Show, etc.etc. People start getting the fever for a new boat at these winter shows. I know, I worked both these shows for Sea Ray for years.

I was wondering if any of the places on the lake were open in the "off" season for the ski boat guys. I think the shop at Park Marine and I know the gas dock at Bald Ridge is open, but others I do not know.

I am suprised there are not more people using their bigger cruisers and yachts when the jet ski nuts are gone?! I think it is so nice out even though it is cool.

I would normally be out many of the weekends even in Jan/Feb, but my boat is out of the water getting a fresh coat of bottom paint ... should be in next week and then you can expect to see me out on the lake at least once each week going forward.

The other place I would expect is open is Bullfrogs at Lake Lanier Islands.

Capt. Jason

Big Creek and Fish Tails are both open and accessible by water. Was at Big Creek last night!

I need to have that done also. Are you having MarineMax do it for you? What are they charging you per foot?

Kicking this thread up - new SR SD190 owner here! New to powerboating, had a Catalina 22 Sailboat in Aqualand for years.

I'm out of the Buford/Dacula area.

So far we've rafted up a few buddy's boats by the golf course at LLI (outside the park, by the golf course as you head toward the bridge toward Sunset/Cocktail coves), and beached last weekend w/ some houseboats on an island for Memorial Day weekend.

I trailer, so I dropped my boat in Hartwell for Sunday/Monday, what a blast that was!

Island Boy - boat to be named...

Back on the Lake this spring after a few years off. Tied up at Bald Ridge. Was able to be out all weekend over Memorial day. It was crazy busy - but the weather was awesome. Hope to see you all out on the water.

Was wondering if anyone on here is in need of an anchor? I am a local diver and I find them all them time. I would sell a heck of a lot cheaper than a new one is. Let me know if anyone needs one.

Thanks,
Brian

I guess it depends. Do you have my anchor that I lost last year?

What size/types of anchors are you offering?

Hey there. I would be interested in a plow style anchor around 22 lbs? if you could find one. And if you find a pair of gloss black Costa Deep Blue's with the 540 blue glass lenses, I will buy those back as well. I've donated three pairs so far...

Just figured I'd bump this thread up again. Anyone got Labor Day Weekend Plans? I got plans to stay out all weekend. If anyone wants to raft up let me know. I'll probably be around Sunset Cove in the evenings (If I can find a spot). The rest of the weekend I should be anywhere from there to Browns Bridge. I'm sure I can dig up a hotdog or a burger and an adult beverage or two to share. I'd love to meet some other CSR's out there.
Dan

Wew will be out for the weekend if it kills me or I have to go alone. After this week I need some space and beverages!
