Ugh,

Came home from work last night, 70 degrees and sunny. Sat by the pool and had a glass of wine with Alison and a BBQ for dinner.

Woke up this morning to 3 inches of snow and 35 degrees.

On top of that, my "new" 300DA is making its way up from Woodbridge today and we are taking delivery tomorrow morning!

We are just quietly enjoying our lake before all the crazys come out. This is one of the best times of the year to boat. No lines at the fuel dock, no wakes, spring is sprung. Unfortanately, I'm rebuilding a barn roof now. A big oak limb fell from 80' up and shattered all of the trusses and the ridge beam. Good news is I was able to open the doors and somehow both tractors were missed. I was thinking of putting a new roof on it this year or next and now insurance will pay for most of repairs minus the deductible. Should have things back to normal in a week.

Up here in Minny we have had one of the best springs in recent memory. My boat was in the water on April 2nd and I haven't looked back. It is a struggle to get through the winter. I have to say that since I have discovered CSR I have been much more energetic to get out and enjoy my boat- as well as take care of more small maintenance items that I used to put off.

Yep the Mid-West is hit and miss this time of the year we have 46 deg right now but supposed to be near 70 this weekend. I can’t do too much right now anyway I messed up my back so only doing little things right now. Still need to put the outdrive on and electric brakes on the trailer.

You have to be hardy and handy to live up here. At least all of our kids are good looking and above average as Garrison notes.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about. We've been heading out all winter.

That was an interesting observation.

I guess that makes the north better than the southern states...:smt043

Handy and Hardy women are hot!!

Boating soon...took it out easter sunday with the kids, but its been on and off temp and precipitation. Water way too cold still even for dry suit. Im getting anxious to wakeboard, dont care so much about just cruising.

Besides, got a new Jeep '10 wrangler. Been perfect weather for going mudding down trails and through the woods. Boating is cool and all, but other hobbies take precedence when the weather is perfect for that hobby. I have to say the Jeep is way more fun than the boat right now

They started putting the boats in the water this past weekend. And today it is snowing out. This dues not make me happy. Later on this week it is going up in the 70's

It sucks! As soon as i know that it will not snow anymore, the shrink wrap comes off and i will sit on my boat in the drive way with a drink in hand. Waiting for the Marinas to open up.

yeah but it's not frozen.............
I'll take year 'round boating with a few sprinkles vs. snow and ice. Yes it is cloudy here frequently but not as much rain as people think.
We get less rain than you do...and it's warmer rain from Nov until now.

Well you do have a lot nicer scenery. I am retiring in about three years but I can't move because of my Grand Daughter she is the love of my life so here I will stay.:smt038 Besides Snow plowing paid for my boat and gives me the extra coin to play.
