Any Lake Lanier boaters on here?

Just from time to time myself, but there is a couple other boater on the board that I know of.

I will be on Lanier... picking the boat up tomorrow! Port Royale.

Live in the north end of lanier but go to the south end often. We like to spend the night at Cocktail Cove. Anchor on Sat and stay until Sunday afternoon.

There are many Lanier boaters out there. I'm at Port Royale and have been for 4 years. Great place and good management. Dock 3, one of the best docks in the marina. Come by on the w/e and we can talk as all boaters do.

Hope the water level holds. The Army Corps. said Lake Huron is going down five to ten inches this year.

New to Lanier here too!

We are down at Bald Ridge. Still learning my way around.

We would love to meet some other CSR guys on Lanier though. I know there is a GREAT group over on Allatoona!

We should maybe all get together sometime. All of our close boating friends have open bow boats. We would like to meet some people with cruisers.

Lanier is much bigger than Allatoona, so the population is a little more spread around. As a result a little more fragmented. Lot of SeaRays up here, big ones too! I guess the best possible way to get to know other boaters is to rely on your neighbors at your marina and talk it up. Let's meet somewhere, etc. As posted I'm at Port Royale and usually am on the lake Sundays, but occasional saturdays. Always have vhf on 16, so maybe a call would do.

Maybe somebody should come up with a CSR raftup date. I'm sure MM would do something like maybe hot-dogs or burger???

I dock at Port Royale also. We have been on the B dock, we get out during the week and some weekends.
Going out tomorrow. have been at Holiday , Charleston park, and Bald Ridge over the last 18 years and This is the best location we have found yet.
It is in the middle of the lake and very quiet and easy to get to from Alpharetta.

We keep ours at Lazy Days in dry stack...right beside Holiday. A raft up would be great!

We could try to work up something in June? Plenty of notice?
I am still new to the lake, so where are some nice coves to meet? We have kids, so perhaps somewhere with not so many racing boats?

The MM idea would be nice, as long as they dont provide the "movie"! :smt043:lol::smt043
(They did one on Allatoona for us CSR guys and the movie skipped like crazy and no one could fix it!):smt038

I'm game for sure! I'm hoping to put the boat in the water next weekend... we also have 2 young ones (almost 4 and 9 months!)

I'm open to anything. We have two small kids (3 & 8). A raft-up or and Island meet and greet, Whatever is fine. Just want to get on the water.

We are at Port Royale - currently moving over to dock 12.

New boat being delivered next week.
