I really dont know if this is the right place for this or not.
My Admiral had a not so good doctor visit last week they think she has cancer she went in for her yearly check up and thats when they caught it and now with all the tests and blood transfusions and hospital and clinc visits are starting to get to her/us.
You know i never ask for much from anyone after the lives we been through it just always seemed easier to just do everything myself.
But I think I could use a little help now,Just a prayer.
Her name is Temple.
Thanks Sherman J Sicard

Sherman, You & Temple are in my Thoughts & Prayers.

Take care Buddy.

You have my phone # if you ever need anything. :smt001

Absolutely. I wish you both all the best. It's a very tough time. Please make sure you ask all the questions and demand all the answers.
I hope that Temple makes a full recovery.

Done. Thanks for sharing that with us. I know first hand what you are dealing with right now. Hang in there.

I wish you both the best.

Temple and your family is in our prayers. Just to let you that today my wife was sent to a skin cancer specialist. Her GP was pretty sure she had skin cancer on top of her upper lip. Everything was negative THANK GOD. She has already won one battle with breast cancer. Yes your wife and your family is in our Prayers.

I'll pray for peace and that both you're minds might be able to quit racing. I know, it can be exhausting. Remember that all things are possible through Him!

You got it!!!! May Temple have a full and speedy recovery. You're in my thoughts and prayers...... Todd

I'm praying for you. My dad was diagnosed with Leukemia 13 months ago. He underwent many, many treatments and finally a bone marrow transplant. After spending 11 of the 13 months in the hospital, he was released this past Weds. A good day for my family to be sure. I hope and pray things will get easier for you and your wife.

I wondered the same thing about posting personal issues on this forum. I have to say that this group of misfits is a group of very caring, understanding misfits. I lost my Mother unexpectedly then a great friend passed from a 9 year battle 2 weeks later and I had great support from these guys.

Temple, I wish you the best and my thoughts are with you and your family & friends. Don't hesitate to share your progress, good & bad with us. We will hope and pray for you.

I will pray for you and your not alone,my admiral had a mamograhm and it was pos. for palonoma,a form of breast cancer my thoughts and prayers will be with you also. Rick

My first mate was diagnosed with cancer last August (melanoma inside her eye) a couple days before we were taking week long cruise in northern Lake Michigan. We went anyway because it seemed better than sitting at home but it was a different emotional experience. Cancer patients all seem to go through a similar set of emotional downs and downers. She found the book "Hope in the Face of Cancer" by Amy Givler, M.D. very helpful (I think she ordered it from Amazon). I since loaned it to a friend that was just diagnosed with breast cancer and she also thought it was a good read. Prayer works. Planning for the victory over the illness rather than dwelling on the worst is more productive. My first mate is slowly going blind in that one eye but the prognosis to live is good, so for her birthday she got a wonderful set of stabilizer binoculars so she can still find the bouys for me. (The infected eye used to have 20/20 vision.) Lots of people win over cancer these days so keep up hope and enjoy every good day on the journey. Don't foget to remind each other how much you love each other.
