This global warming stuff is getting really bad around these parts. My kids have not been in school since last THURSDAY because of the damn snow storms... and now they are saying we could get another 10-20" this weekend.. The 2 snow plows Williamsburg owns are working non-stop...

Everyone needs to start farting more to warm up the planet (buy cows, sheep, eat cabbage, etc) or I need to move south.

It was a record warmest January on record here. Today continues with a high of 58 and low of 44. No complaints.

It was the coldest January on record here... but if we drop the "cold" data points from the analysis, I bet we can get some government grants to study the warming in your area... sh!t... we might even get a freekin' Nobel Peace Prize!

It is snowing up here again, all night last night and it looks like we got about 4 inches so far and it is still coming down. Our third big snow this season, and another one on the way for this weekend.

Now I have to go out and clean this crap off the car and head for work….. they don’t cancel that.

Not much snow here this winter. We can loan you a couple of plows!

I heard Al is going to write another book blaming the Republicans for all the cold weather in the middle of Global Warming.

I've used my snowblower once this season, and that was mostly just to see if it still works.

1,350 miles south, my friends in Miami have learned what those "seat heater" and "rear window defrost" buttons on their dashboards are for. Actually, they saw snow in the air.

bizarre.

It is bizarre how us in S/E lower Michigan have had so much less snow than places that don't even usually get snow.

But, other than lake level concerns, I'm not complaining!

Personally, I like climate change. Without it, I'd be under a mile of ice right now! :smt043

Now that would be an inconvenient truth :smt021

You southern folks are funny with your thin skin. I feel your pain but you described a typical week up here. We cancel school or hockey only if it gets below -15.....otherwise bundle up and head to the bus stop. I hate it....I wish was as easy as pulling up the stakes and moving south. Kids, business, family = not easy to pack up move.

I have heard that scientists and the media are moving away from the term "Global Warming" will begin using the term "Global Climate Change".

Sorry to hear about all that snow you are getting down South. We were just commenting in the office that we have been lucky this year. Most of the storms have been running up the coast and then turning out to sea as they approach the North Jersey.

We had one storm that dropped over 1ft of snow, but the other 2 or 3 were less than 2 inches. So far the winter has been an easy one in North Jersey. :smt038

Apparently, with the new "parameters" for winning the Nobel, just the fact that you are thinking about doing it should get you the prize. Actually doing it would not be required.

Global warming has been very cold during the last days. Your North is my South...Temperature during the last week has been down to -25, but no record this year, this is normal up here.
