One of my future purchases will be 1967-68 Fiat Dino coupe with the Ferrari V6.

I'm actually looking forward to the Fiat ownership of Chrysler as Fiat & Alfa have some very interesting cars they might be able to start importing again.

A very nice collection. The 600 and 500 are nice but just aren't my style. I do love the lines on the Abarth 750. The 356 is a beautiful car though I prefer the sleeker lines of a 550. There is a classic car restorer in the Austin area who has a race prepped 356 coupe that is just amazing. I'm a sucker for the late 50s and 60s European sports and GTs.

Had to bring up politics in a perfectly good car thread. :)

I'd like to see the Alfa MiTo brought over. a very stylish 2 door hatchback that looks like it might be fun to drive. That's especially true if the GTA version goes to production.

the last damn american car i'm buyin' till they build something that doesn't suck!

I can fully understand where you are coming from. I just haven't felt a draw to an American built car in quite some time. I enjoyed the Corvettes I've owned but I was let down ny the build quality. Don't get me wrong, there are some very well built American cars/trucks being produced today but they just don't appeal to my taste.

Who can forget the Infamous Cinqucento?! I was squished into the back seat of one with three cousins back in August of 1984.

Started looking at them back in 02 when the came out, they were above my pay grade back then, found this one at a great price and a hungry salesman, only had 20k miles still under warranty. It is a zippy little car. Gets about 24-26 mpg running highway speeds, when I put it in SD (Sport Drive) it kicks. :grin:

I won't buy a foreign built car.I like to keep our money here

The BMW Z4 is built in Columbia SC from parts manufacturers in the USA. If you take the time to look closely, while I am a long time Chevy product owner, the bulk of parts that go into Chevy is imported. And just so you understand how really really dumb your comment is;

1. I bought the car at a Chevy dealership on the used car lot. = Salesman got a pay check.
2. I financed it in a local bank. = Loan Officer got a check.
3. Chevy dealership bought car at lease car auction = American Leasing Company got a check.
4. American Leasing Company got car back from American who leased car for three years = American Leasing Company go a check.
5. American Leasing Company bought the car from a American owned BMW Dealership = Salesman got a check.
6. American BMW Dealership bought car from BMW Factory = Factory who employees 1500 people get a check.
7. The BMW Engineer and designer's office is based in California. Oh yea, guess what = they sent the check there! :thumbsup:

I can keep going, but your premise that just because you continue to be loyal to GMC or Chevy or Ford you are doing our country a big favor is a false one. There are too many Toyota, Nissan, Mercedes, Honda plants in the American giving people quality jobs, while the Big 3 out sourced themselves right into bankruptcy. :smt009
