Official csr around the world sailboat race - start now

This is pretty fun... on the next leg does everybody start at the same time or do you depart in the same order you arrived?

yeah, this leg sucks. what a boring leg. I check my boat like once a day. Uncle Buck already kicked all our butts days ago. He took the northern route and I thought I had him whooped a week ago... then the wind gods turned on me.

Is it just me or are some of you not showing up on the group results. I just checked again under results/group and it looks like Turtle is the only one that has finished??????

I still haven't finished... probably have another day and a half ... but my excuse is I started racing about a day after the leg started :)

I'll reach port in about 24 hours. probably around the same time as Chuck. These last couple of days haven't gone too well. I've lost probably 10,000 places in ranking.

 I'll keep a cold one ready for you:thumbsup: If the dang wind does not change again I should reach port in about 12 hours.

I'll be on auto-pilot from here on out. I was scheduled to go to Mexico leaving tomorrow morning but the swine flu has changed my itinerary and now we're leaving this afternoon for Costa Rica instead. I've got her pointed at Boston and that's gonna have to do it for this leg. The past 4 days or so have also cost me about 10k spots..... Have fun boys, see ya soon

Finished at last, 37026 so much for sub 1000!!!

at least my barclays shares are going like a train

Sleep and rest now till the next leg of the battle

When does leg 7 start? I just started leg 6 so not sure how long the layover is in port.

not for a couple weeks if I remember correctly. It is on the web site.

Just checked the site 5/16/09.

Ok.. I'm confused.. We have the pass this buoy on the port side and the leaders continue on their course will require a 90 degree turn into a head wind. What am I missing?

Chuck..

All I can say is tomorrow morning will be interesting. They have to change course and should slow down considerably. I don't get it. Collingdale seems to be following their lead. I'm not getting up at 5:00 am to change my heading.

Gotta run.. wife and kids want me to watch American Idle. (I think the gay guy will win)
