New CSR Advertiser - Gioia Sails - OEM Canvas

Great Company!!

Nancy over at Gioia helped us out with our hi-low sunpads last year. She helped get us all of the parts and hardware to rebuild the brackets on the back of the sunpads.

They are a very helpful company and customer service oriented.

Thanks again Nancy & Gioia.

Ken

How far back do you go. I have a 73 SRV240 that needs ALL the canvas replaced. Any help here?

We do not have patterns from that vintage but our Lakewood, NJ shop may be able to pattern it and do the job. If you are interested, send me an email with all your contact/boat info and I will get in-touch with the NJ shop to set something up.

So can you construct some of those fancy schmancy sunpads that have the tilt up backs on them (like on the newer 48DA model) for a 2003 480 DB. I would could provide a template... It's about the same size as a 48 DA (the 48 DA is much much smaller with dinky little engines)... This is the picture of the current one:

Hi Derek:

I met Bob from your Lakewood shop at the AC Boat show. I have your business card in front of me. We spoke about re-gluing some of my EZ2CY seems. I would like to know if it would be possible to schedule a day ahead of time so that the repair can be made in a single afternoon?

Thanks,

Hey Derek-

Could you do an enclosure for a 44DB out of EZ2CY? I know the opening panels can't be rolled, but they can be lifted up and attached to the underside of the radar arch (that's what I do with mine now). Let me know via PM.

Sounds like joining CSR was a good idea for you!

Tim

Tim:

I have EZ2CY and I do just that with the center panel.....actually, the P.O. did the install and added the arch snaps and receivers on the panel.

Hey Tim - sent you a PM - and yes CSR has been good for us, especially for the first few hours here...

That's great... look forward to seeing what you can do.

I assume that you have access to the same patterns as everyone else I have talked to, but figured it was worth a shot. I need a rear bimini for a 2000 270 sundancer, and apparently sea ray has no patterns. they got "lost in the move."

Everyone I owe replies to should have a PM or email now.

Thanks!

Way too much fun happening in this thread...

Derek - I have a 96 270DA and would like to get quote on the side curtains in green. I believe I have the correct name - they are the triangular shaped pieces which fit on top of where the windshield wraps around and then goes down. I outlined in black in this picture:

Gioia is great - Don and Derek are local to me and are doing our boat now which is down in Millville but coming back to Manasquan soon. We're doing new canvas (with EZ2CY), reclining sunpads, new combing pads, seats, mattress, etc. I've toured their facility and seen the operation, very impressive. And they're an OEM provider for boats like Silverton. I'd refer their work anytime.

Derek, I suggest you post an e-mail address you can use for quotes, etc. from this site as it'll probably be cleaner for you than trying to read all the threads.

I'll see you or Don on Thursday I think with Rick down at the plant.

Can you take pictures of the reclining sunpads and post them?

Not that I don't trust them... but would like to see their work. They providing all the hardware that has to be mounted? You have to admit its fun watching the guy have a melt down.

Thanks

Gary - will do - don't have them in my possession yet, but will soon. The Mrs. is still contemplating a "swatch" color. I actually have sat in and operated a few of their samples in their manufacturing facility and was happy with them. As mine are for a 460 EC, he had to do a center one to fit between the rails and then one for each side, and yes all the mounting hardware, including built in cup holders. I'm having him cover a few of the portable deck chairs in the same material too, Don had done the same on his own boat. Will keep you posted. Mike
