Well, my "three foot itis" is over. Sue and I bought a 2005 340 today. Its going to get a coat of bottom paint, some chips touched up, detailed, and launched. Hopefully we will have it in the water Dec 1st.

Thanks to all of you that offered expertise and advice. Looking forward to more of the same.

Pictures to follow.

Congrats...the 340 is a beautiful boat.

Congratulations!
You will enjoy the 340.

Pictures tell a thousand.............

Congrats on the 340. We have a 02' and love it. Just right for the two of us for the whole weekend. I see your from Marietta, did you buy local? Which marina are you using? We keep ours @ Park Marina on Red Top mountain. It's a great location kinda in the middle of the lake. Good luck I know your looking foward to Dec. Jim

Hi Jim,

We are going to look at Park Marina on Saturday - what dock are you on there - are there any docks to avoid there for any reasons?
We looked at Victoria Landing and Harbortown today. We're going to pass on Glade and Holiday.

Congrats,

Hope you have fun with her!!

Vielen Dank, Peter

I'll get the list posted when they deliver her - It has basic smartcraft, Raymarine C80, flat plate TVs, central vac, cockpit refrig (instead of icemaker), and 8.1S engines. No macerator.

Bester Respekt,

Carter

Congratulations. Now lets see some pictures (Grin)

We didn't go that far north to look @ Victoria Landing or Harbor Town. To far north for us since we live in Douglasville. We did look at all the rest of them. Big pass on Glade. We thought by far Park was the place for us, plus the ride through the park to get to the marina is very nice. Not like trying to get to Glade if you know what I mean. We are on A dock which is directly behind the main building. They have several docks with several different boats. They really try to keep all same types together. A dock is mostly crusiers so most of us have the same type boat and alot of sea rays as well. A dock is also known as the party dock its not as bad as it sounds. We go up everyweekend and most of the time it's the same people always there not matter what the weather brings. It's all covered. We really have a great bunch of people who really keep an eye out on everybody else's things. If there are no empty spaces on A dock they will move you when one comes available. Another nice marina is Allatoona Landing but they did not have any openings when we were looking and now we are glad of that. Let us know what you think after you look Sat. Take a walk down A dock we are in slip 35. You guessed it BlackPearl. PM me if you have any questions and good luck. Jim
