I knew someone would play the "big boat" card eventually. Why is it always about big and small. Can't we all just get along?

Mr. Thunderchicken,

You are Change I Can Believe In, Man!

I have edited this and sent you a PM.

Support the site, my man. After 300 plus posts, surely you have derived twenty five bucks of value from good old CSR.

best regards,
Skip

If a man is standing in the middle of the forest speaking, and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?

I got it.

My wife is constantly redoing "soft goods" in the house. Personally, I can live without it. Although she's not leaving me home alone with a bunch of interior decorating ladies. So maybe that has something to do with it.

...just push the button and condem their cyber being....

Uh oh. I didn't check this thread in two days and now it's so far off topic that we're pushing buttons and wearing condems on our "cyber beings"?

I have some yogurt in the fridge, is that a soft good?

Well, the big thing I see is that having any size boat is absolutely no indication of wealth whatsoever, except that you arent poor (well, depends on the gas consumption?:smt001)

I have seen plenty of 40'+ boat owners who have absolutely no money to spare and in debt and live in an area I would never want my kids to live, and the same size owners living in mansions, and the exact same descriptions for people who have a 17' boat.

It's the same as cars.

There are more Mercedes and infiniti's and BMW's around Bridgeport Ct sitting in driveways of homes that I'd never live next door to, than there are in my neighborhood, and we have tennis courts, horses and in-ground pools.

Dumb comparison to think bigger boat=wealth, or any such nonsense.

As well wealth/lack of wealth has NOTHING to do with how a person is to be with. Most of the guys at hockey pull down easily in the $175k range, and 3 are millionaires. There are also those that make less than 100k. Everyone treats each other the exact same, and hangs out with and are friends regardless of any of that crap.

Money= something to pay the bills. Nothing else.

"and we have tennis courts"

Nice, so you and I will have something to do when I visit cause I know how much you love boating.
