Well, I hope I'm not stepping on toes here but I did a search and could not find another thread that was devoted to 330's.

So here it is!

To all my fellow 330 owners, please say hello.

Regards,
Tim

Hi there!

Checking in from the 1000 Islands Region in Ontario, Canada.

A sad day yesterday, we pulled our 330 from the slip for the season and sent her to her winter resting spot.

Had a wet, but enjoyable summer on board this boat and really love it.

Thanks for the thread!!

Wet summer is right! I was over at DYC here in Michigan, and I was so ticked off about how short this summer was that I decided to move to Florida :)

That is a very sad day indeed when you have to put her away - are you going heated or shrinkwrapped/winterized?

If you go heated, are you going to visit her in the lockup during the winter? Any mods planned?

If you get withdrawals, feel free to visit south Florida and ping some of us folks on here, and we'll get you a fix out on the water.

Regards,
Tim

Hi from Fallston, Maryland.

Glad to see someone stepped up to the plate for the 330s...

We have about 4 weeks left before we start the winterization ritual. UGH!!!

98 330DA hailing from sunny North Myrtle Beach. Sorry you guys don't get to experience great fall cruising, the next couple of months are some of the best. Cooler temps, no humidity, and no traffic! Thanks for starting the thread.

Happy boating from Portland, Oregon!

Well it is about time that one of the most popular Cruiser models from Sea Ray gets it's own thread!

The 330 has been my baby for 8 years and over 700 running hours. I have done numerous trips with her and absolutely feel this is a fantastic vessel.

I look forward to developing this thread with you all!

Hi Tim-

We shrink wrap- very limited indoor storage avail at our marina.

As for mods, we negotiated a new camper top for the boat- it cam standard with the slant back and we are excited about creating more dry, warm usable space with the camper top. Can't wait to see it done.

We get as far as the Fort Myers area each winter- spend about 3 weeks in March down there. What part of Florida are in docked in?

Mike

Hey,
Are any of you 330 guys in saltwater? If so, do rinse with fresh water after every run? And if so, what rig do you use? I have vdrives, and I'll need to explore my options there.

On another thread, I saw somebody with a pretty cool homemade rig - I was just wondering if anybody saw something cool specialized for the 330.

Thanks,
Tim

I'm in New Bern, NC, and now that I no longer have to run the AC at the dock all the time, I'm looking forward to fall and winter cruising.

Thanks for starting the thread.

Oh yeah - and here's a video of the first ride our family had on the new 330 :)

Greetings from Central Virginia. There must be one heck of a frost line in Northern Virginia. I stay in all year and boating season won't end here until mid November. We can boat year round if you have a heated bridge. Of course for me, boating season ended for all intents and purposes at $4.25 per gallon.

We were in salt water for 2 months this summer. We washed the hull down after every run (if not the next time on the boat the haul looked like someone threw table salt all over it) and did nothing special for the raw water system. I can tell you this, in 2+ years in fresh water our heat exchanger zincs showed little wear...after 2 months in salt they were halfway corroded.

David, lets hope Cato is below $4 a gallon now...especially since we have a 5+ hour cruise coming up.
