Playing with my bow shade today. Getting ready for those hot Bahama summer days. Made a couple tweaks and think I got it right where I want it. Takes less than 10 mins to put up or take down.

Anyone found the perfect weather strip replacement for the front vent windows? I have noticed a little water now after a rain so it is time...

Looks real nice Grant, can you give us some links to the poles you used that clamp to to existing railings? and the cool suction cup thingy? Thanks Grant.

Poles are a combo of the original SunFly poles (Stainless) because I had them already and then a pair of the Carbon Carbie Poles for the sides https://www.carbiepoles.com/

The mounts are just dual clamp on rod holders, the one on top I cut the bottom out so the pole slides through and gives more support.

The roof mounts are 6" Sea Sucker with "D" ring. I wanted everything removable and no holes.

Got it. Thank you for the info. Perfect.

Hey guys,
My master head vacuum pump is running continuosly. I figure their is an air leak somehere and hoping it is just a hose connection at the pump! Havent had time to really look. Head flushes fine. Anyone with experience here?
Thanks.
Andy

Hey Andy,
I had a similar issue a few years back and my problem was the switch that's right on the vacuflush unit, if that is not the problem it could be leaking around the switch o ring!!! I hope is not a line I red here that the lines are a nightmare to replace!
Best
Rod

Start with duck bills, most common. Then plunger.

Thanks Rod. I'll check the switch and the switch o ring.

Grant. What's the duck bills and plunger? Are they on the pump or head? Thanks.

Anyone have a quick link to a 48DA cockpit sink replacement? The handle for the water on/off broke off on me.

That's ordered so thanks. Which thread has a photo of your cockpit tv mounted. I want to do that as well this season.

My cockpit TV mount is stock just with a newer LED TV. I don't really even use it that much.

So redid the the weather striping, polished the stainless hardware and replaced both the wiper arms this weekend. Amazing how much “salt” wear those windows and hardware take. So much rust and corrosion on the hardware. Forgot to take before and after pics.. The mothers “re-black” stuff really worked good. Changed the plastic parts from sun beat grey to black with a little scotch Brite. New wipers arriving tomorrow.
