I’ve never falsified business records. I don’t know? You seem to know all about the law tell me.

Hey the National Enquirer didn't take the time to vet the shyster doorman's story. They realized it was BS after they paid.
What they should have done was press charges, the 'Doorman' you refer to was attempting a fraud/blackmail...pay me or I'll tell a nasty story.

That's the game that's played, just like a lot of the Weinstein, Cosby accusers.....oh oh, now I remember they $ay, he $crewed me too 45yrs ago, I don't remember where or when or how...but he did and my life's been a $hambles ever $ince.

Cool. I get your point, but if you falsified the business records of said Payment, it doesn’t matter about intent for the payment does it? Again not a lawyer I believe you said you are. Tell me.

I’ve actually had a jaywalking ticket, in Manhattan. I didn’t try to pay somebody off to get rid of it. I paid my fine and moved on.
 
We all agree left or right, that banging stormy Daniels or Karen McDougal is not a crime? Right? It’s the cover-up and or falsification of business and tax records. I know a lot of you are small business owners. You would be OK with your competitor doing that?

Did he falsify his business records? I don’t know. Also not a forensic auditor. But that’s the charge.

Again, you know a lot(or you represent to) is it fraudulent behavior to falsify business documents?

While not proud, I own it. In point of fact, I stepped off the curb to enthusiastically pat an NYPD van as it rolled by on a narrow street in the village. The officers were not impressed with my drunken show of support and my stepping off said curb became jaywalking. Fair enough.

They dug through Cohen's private business activity, they convicted him on 5 counts of 'tax evasion', 1 count of 'making false statements to a federally insured bank', 1 count of 'causing an unlawful corporate contribution', and.....1 count of 'making an excessive campaign contribution'.

If Cohen wasn't crooked in his own business, the 'tax evasion', I doubt they'd have ever went to court. But the Feds look for the arm twister, like they did with Manafort and others.
