No corporation is being bullied. They are doing what they think should be done based on their business decisions and expectations of their customer base's views. If they are wrong, they are wrong. Time will tell on that front too.

Personally, I think the entire business model of on-line advertising is going to change. How many of you pause to look at the ads all over web sites and social media? I don't. Over the past few years there was an explosion of paid advertising but that is being spread around too many platforms, decreasing the revenues of each. Advertisers only have so much they are willing to spend, and spend it where they think they will get customers. Twitter is not top of list for some large companies at this point. Not because they are forced or bullied. Its business.
“Republicans buy sneakers too.” MJ.

They made a business decision and know who buys their stuff.... totally their call. You disagree. Fine. By Reeboks, Asics or Puma or some other brand.
Doesn’t mean they aren’t bullied into it. Many time with misinformation itself. Go figure.

Won't buy anything made or owned by GoodYear either. One of the most woke decisions made by anyone so they will never get a penny from me again. And I will not buy anything owned by Nike either

Or folks on here... amazing how many pro Tesla now anti Musk folks are among us...
Just to clarify, if you think my posts are "anti-Musk", they aren't. I think he is good at what he is good at. He has unique vision for the future and can rally investors behind him. No question. He also does what he wants when he wants it. In his own words, he acts with urgency. He also calls all the important shots and does them with "urgency". He is spread too thin now though and either Twitter or Tesla will suffer for it (or both).

I despise anything EV
Well you got it half right.
I read this morning that an independent testing company found a lot of issues with Tesla self driving mode. A lot. Musk hit them with a cease and desist order, (will try to find it again).
So the self proclaimed free speech advocate is a hypocritical jerk.
I won’t do Tesla, PayPal, SpaceX, or Twitter or anything else that puts a dime in that asshole pocket.
Found it, it’s behind a pay wall so no sense posting the link…

He didn't buy Twitter to go broke... that's for sure.

I'm far from a Musk fan boy, but for rural properties his Starlink internet cannot be beat...

AI and EV’s are not related. I do However believe they are both evil creations under false pretenses yet the sheep take it hook-line-n-sinker.

Well, time will tell. Lots of people that develop successful businesses then have significant business failures at times. I agree he has had success in his first venture, and arguably with Tesla (which is interesting given the political rants evolving in the thread I started about a Model 3 on the Nürburgring. That went sideways in a hurry and from the anti-EV political rants, that would seem to imply that many believe he is on the dark side - but I digress). The jury is out on Twitter and as I said, time will tell.

I think you are misreading the sentiment here about EVs. You want one, wear what you dig. Just don't force it on me. The "political" piece of it is some states are forcing it on people and it looks like the dems would like to force EVs on everyone. All in the name of supposed "human caused global warming". Especially when China and India are building coal fired power plants faster than we can close them down. Ridiculous.

Yes. Can you speculate on why the EV push all of a sudden?

Two of the guys I work with (both engineers) have Teslas for the fact that they're gadget freaks (the guys, not the cars...). Neither of them gives a ratsass about "saving the planet", but it's crazy how much "anti-EV" sentiment is thrown their way almost daily. One of them came out of the grocery store to find his neighbor standing by his car (it's a small town) and said to him "If I had that car, I'd burn it to the ground!" Typical for him, he replied "Well, it's in my plans." So now, he's labeled as a liberal tree-hugger, which couldn't be further from the truth. How do you deal with that?
