If only Paul Pelosi had a weapon in the house.....

Good example.

I knew that my deliberately non partisan post would swing the way it did but offered an opinion anyway. I'm brainwashed and duped because I think beating old people with a hammer is unacceptable. Fine.

I get it. People on the right hate Pelosi. People wanting to assassinate the speaker of the house (here and on 1/6) is a whole new brand of crazy.

Political leanings aside, I don't understand seeing the beating of an octogenarian as a by product of a plan to kill another one as anything but another sad day. I can't find humor in it.

These people are parents and grandparents and similar in age as our own parents in many cases.

The collective mind has taken an odd and permanent turn.

You’re kidding right?

...It’s all about politics as these politicians think they are elite and above the law and get away with everything because they have control, power influence.
All too common in people that are in positions of (perceived) power:
https://www.helpguide.org/articles/mental-disorders/narcissistic-personality-disorder.htm
"Communal narcissism. Communal narcissists tend to view themselves as altruistic and claim to care deeply about fairness. They present themselves to others as supportive and selfless. However, their behavior is motivated by a desire for social power and a sense of superiority or entitlement. Because of this, their actions don’t always match their beliefs." While this may not directly describe the subject, I can only imagine he suffers the same mindset from living in the environment he's in.

Nobody says beating old people with a hammer is acceptable (except inner city Democrats who put up with it every day).
The problem is -- what is the true story? 3 options:
A) Was this political violence wherein a right winger took it upon himself to try to kidnap/kill the Speaker of the House?
B) Was this a situation where Mr. Pelosi got caught up in something weird?
C) Was this just a dude with serious mental illness who entered the house with no ill intent, spoke to Paul, and eventually a struggle ensued?

The MSM is set with number 1. The rest of the thinking population are skeptical.

Not addressing anyone specifically but I don't like what happens to some words...'hate' is a good example. Accusations of 'hate' are spewed out so easy, all you have to do is not agree and you're a 'hater'. If you don't agree that men can now have babies you could be called transphobic and 'hateful'....you should be happy for him ya' know.

And the terrible memes and tweets...oh my. They're 'hurtful', they're proof that that the old saying 'sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me' is totally wrong. So, so wrong...words are dangerous, they're 'violence' itself, as bad as hitting someone with a hammer.

And modern technology is misused by 'haters' to share their soon to be illegal thoughts. Distrust in election outcomes is a good example or even immigration policies...in the form of memes and tweets allowed to ferment and foment. It's obvious such 'hate' can not be allowed, their accounts must be closed, they must be canceled...no soapbox for you, 'free speech is harmful'.

Call somethings crazy, like hitting an old man with a hammer, or shitting on the driveway at the same Pelosi residence, crazy acts, probably from crazy people.

But getting back to the memes, how about these from well over 100 years ago. Are they examples of the dangerous far out fringe thinking of haters? If they were posted today they would be credited to the far right racist xenophobic insurrectionists.

Who is talking about that? All I've heard is Pelosi's husband was in a hammer fight, at 2am in his underwear, with a "friend", who let him take a bathroom break during the "break-in" "attack".

I'd be more curious what they are doing while the MSM is only reporting on this BS...

And the left planned and orchestrated 1/6...so if the left wants her gone...

So the justice department's own criminal complaint seems to indicate option C.

Some observations I find interesting.
1) Private security was working a house nearby -- but nothing for the Speaker of the House (public or private - no like they don't have the money) who's house had been vandalized in the past.
2) Guy had no interest in Paul. When told Nancy wasn't there, he said he'd sit and wait. They apparently talked back and forth. This allowed Paul to get up and go to the bathroom to call 911. What kind of violent intruder is that?
3) Guy just wanted to tie up Nancy, so he could sleep because he was tired of hauling his backpack. He's a real insurectionist, isn't he.
4) Guy doesn't bolt when Paul calls 911, because he thinks he's a Britsh Revolutionary.
5) Instead, they go to the front door and open it for the police. Guy get's control of hammer, swings, and hits Paul with it.

Guy is really bad at this "fight against tyrany" stuff. Guy is a certifiable nut job. Not sure I would classified this as "political violence" other than the fact Nancy is a politician.

Yep. I think these comments are spot on. The left with all the help from the media and intelligencia has effectively created the narrative that their violence is speech and everyone else's speech is violence.

None of the very violent riots of the left have been characterized as anything but free speech. Chaz which was an armed leftist takeover of six blocks, but was just part of a 'summer of love'. But a sitting president asks people to peacefully and patriotically make their voices heard and it is not only violence, it is so violent, worse than anything since the civil war, an insurrection in fact! Never mind there were no organizers, no leaders, no weapons, no formal demands, no plan, nothing.

And on this Pelosi thing... It certainly is weird, but the only narrative is this is the result of the MAGA movement, which is of course full of deranged nudist 911 deniers.

Just ask yourselves this... If the exact same circumstances happened at the Trump residence, would they blame the left, or might they perhaps have a different narrative?

To bad interrogations aren’t public record.
Hopefully he pleads not guilty and we hear his side in court….. if they deem him
Mentally fit for trial and don’t hide him in a rubber room….. where he ends up dead
He didn't attack Bill Clinton...
