A great 2 stateroom design for cruising, a day on the water, or as dock condo. Easy and safe access to bow simplifies docking and expands usable deck space.

After 12 years of enjoying “Justifiable” it is time to close this chapter of life. She’s in good shape except for the port engine (needs exhaust manifold, the turbo has been rebuilt but needs to be installed). Due to family circumstance I don’t have the time or desire to go through the motor rebuild process. I fully understand this is not the typical for sale situation, but the CSR community has wide and diverse skills and there might be some with interest, and see this as an opportunity.

Priced competitively if you’re going be paying for the required work, and very attractive if you can do even some of the task yourself.

Offered for Sale at $160,000
  • Cummins 6CTA-8.3 (641hrs)
  • Onan Generator 9MDKAV
  • Bow thrust
  • Stamiod Enclosure (2019)
  • New Salon A/C
  • New Master A/C
  • New Sunloungers (2019)
More info and pictures available upon request.

Looks like a steal price to me with 641 engine hours, notwithstanding the work identified, assuming one desires the 2SR model. Bridge Stamoid looks good, wondering if cockpit covered similar.

Thanks for the kind comments. I don't have a cockpit cover. The bridge enclosure was redesigned by the original OEM fabricator so the front 3 panels are acrylic and can hinged up and easily fastened to the cross rail supports. It really gives greater visibility a much more open feeling.

Art,
I'm sorry to see you selling your boat. I really like the two stateroom layout over the three and the combination of dark cabinets and the black countertops in the galley look fantastic and very modern. That and the many updates you have made to the boat really make this a great buy! Good luck to you!

Excellent. Post Ian, it's what I may do with my bridge enclosure, acrylic, Stratoglass or similar, on front bridge panels. Also may be able to do side panels if they can be fixed to slide open to the aft panel in a track. And, removable to clean & for a coming storm prep. What I had was p-trak along top, snap down bottom, and zip-out/roll-up Eisenglass surround. In SW Florida, 99% of time all my zipouts are rolled up but always closed up when not aboard to keep any rain off the bridge. Eisenglass was actually very suitable and may simply go back with same, not sure yet. Problem with p-trak is difficulty taking it all down. Could add a zippered valance top & bottom for ease of complete removal. During hurricane Elsa, 55mph wind, everything held up. Ian at 155mph at least, shredded it all. Canvas company proposal on Nov. 1. Woohoo! I'm ahead of the curve of storm damage requests for quote because I had already engaged a month prior to Ian including a big deposit. Just lucky on that front. All of them will be slammed and many months wait.

Art, Since I have been trying to sell my boat , I have received a bunch of inquiries. One of the potential buyers would be interested in your boat(2 cabins vs 3 layout). His name is John and his # is 941-380-0889. You were asking 160 before fixes , I told him you were asking 180k. Anyway, if John doesn't buy it , I have a bunch of buyers looking at my boat now that may prefer your boat. keep in touch. My phone is 518-491-5088 (NY cell) Im living in Miami Beach .Warm Regards
Todd

Perhaps out of touch but I thought our model asking price last year was north of $200k for '01-'03 models. Haven't looked recently tho.
Incidentally, passed my model headed up ICW, San Carlos Bay, bottom of Calusahatchie River. He hailed me, "Hi Jack!". I don't know who that was, missed catching the name. Someone on our Group??

I should bring this thread up to date. I decided to go ahead and fix the engine. I ended up rebuilding the turbo, getting a new exhaust manifold, a new head, and what I believe might have been that last Cummins after cooler in the USA. The hoses on both engines have been replaced. And most significantly performed a shakedown cruise. I plan on rebuilding the STBD turbo and the STBD after cooler.

Todd recently joined CSR (welcome Todd) and inquired by PM if I had sold my boat. I and explained the current status. Todd is being very helpful and we plan on meeting and visiting each others boats.

I still want to sell the boat

/QUOTE]

Jack, I agree! I have put in over $34K and am offering to sell now, before the STBD after cooler and turbo work is performed, for $194K. I think I am very competitively priced.
