Saw my first DeSantis 2024 flag on a boat this weekend. Wondering what Floridians think/feel about this guy. From a distance he seems like a more intelligent, better educated Trump. Will that play with the Trump base or will he need to pretend he is uneducated like Hawley, Cruz and Kennedy do in order to garner support with "the base"?

Can't move to florida because my business is located in the Untied Socialist State of IL. It's heavy equipment and will cost probably $1mil to move. With that said, my future investment in alternate locations won't be IL.

And you're trollling because we know you don't like DeSantis and just want to slam people who like Trump. You have no real interest in DeSantis and his policies. We can see it in your "uneducated" coments about the Trump base.

I'll let the primary campaign play out. I don't think Trump is going to run. And if he does, not sure he'll win, especially if the Republlicrats don't run 17 candidates like last time. DeSantis has as good a shot as anyone.

He will run. No doubt about it. That’s why I find the DeSantis support interesting. They seem to have the same base of support. So how will it break?

I don’t have to like a candidate to have an interest in the candidate. Fair?
 
2024 is a loooooong way out. Why are you bringing it up right now? Seems there is plenty for you to discuss on the other threads...

You don’t know if I like DeSantis based on my comments or not. I actually think he is quite intelligent(from what I can gather). My comment was on whether or not he will need to play dumb like some other educated republicans because that seems to be the way the Trump base likes their leaders these days.

I didn’t call the base dumb. I said they appear to like their leaders to ACT like they are indeed dumb and uneducated.
