Potential new 47DB owner within the next month or less…if anyone has converted from the under-counter TV to a wall mount what size TV did you fit? Any particular mount you’d recommend? Thanks!
Will tell all when the ink is dry. It's a crazy market out there!
Still in process. Can anyone familiar with these boats comment on water intrusion through the engine air intake grates soaking and eventually rotting the wooden header between the salon and cockpit?
I’m considering replacing the 2 drawers below the starboard galley counter. The drawers are short because originally the TV retracted into this space. My TV is now mounted on top of the cabinet. I’m a woodworker so I can remake the drawers and attach the original drawer fronts. Has anyone else done this?
@Zach312 congrats on getting back into a 47DB! Have fun with it.
2 47's that's crazy. Love that boat! Thanks, Its wild how much this boat fits life at the moment. Happy to be back in this model. Hope to post some pics in the near future.
Hey Everyone,
I hope I'm uploading this post correctly (sigh). I'm new to the site & new to the Sea Ray family!
My wife and I recently purchased (Nov 2021) a 47db. Two weeks ago, we drove it from the shipyard where it was being stored to our new home port in Georgian Bay. 500 plus miles over 3 days. It was a fantastic trip - no issues. Engines ran well. Great lakes weather cooperated. We couldn't have asked for better. And we Love the boat!
All of the TV systems are original ...so one of my projects is to replace the DVD players & TVs in both state rooms and the salon. I have looked through every on-line manual and on-board paper manual and I can't find any diagrams or instructions that detail the cabinetry for the entertainment systems ...and how to access the cabling and TV mounts.
Any help from fellow 47db owners would be much appreciated!!
Chris
