Does NoFlex really work?

Fixed it for you. I'm making a trip to the boat tonight to get a tablet in the sump. :)

Yes it does work and there is a cheaper way to make it.

Post #10 (This thread) or there about's. On my 2nd year of making it. Works great as everyone states.

Noflex is a no brainer…… carters poopy powder is the same and a lot cheaper. I have used cpp now two years….. excellent results…. Do it

Ditched my oxicleab and made a batch a few weeks ago. First pump out since using it is tomorrow...

I started to use at the end of the season last year.

I'm hit or miss getting to the boat every week but after I dose it when I first get to the boat everything is smell free for days. I'm surprised that during pump out it really has no or very little odor.

I'm repeating myself now, but for the newbies here goes... I bought the boat 15 years ago, the PO had just done all of the duckbill valves, the aft head was rock solid (no cycling) but the master head would cycle every 1-2 hours. It reached the point where I would just turn it off at night when we went to bed. I started using NoFlex and at the end of the season, I turned the head system off, added a bunch of water to the bowl with NoFlex, flushed the toilet, and let the mix sit in the system all winter, come spring there was no more cycling. The duckbills are 15 years old now without an issue. And last year I started making CPP and saved a ton of money.

Darn, I should have patented it!!

Its working for me - no odors, but my empty light is now stuck on. Before I pull out the sensors, I'm going to do the miserable "crawl" behind the generator to tap the sensors with my phenolic hammer...Just need Susan to pull on my legs so I can get back out!!

Can’t sing the praises of noflex any louder the stuff just works. We clean the heads before we head home every weekend. The admiral noticed that leaving water in the toilet bowl for a week would leave a nasty film and the water would get cloudy and dank. I tested leaving a drop of noflex in the bowl for the week until we return. This weekend on arrival the bowl water was crystal clear and looked as clean as we left it. So going to have to make the poopy powder as it’s going to get costly as I find more ways to use.

My only complaint is that the granules tend to get hung up in the duckbills when I flush it. Recently started adding via the pump out port. Anyone else do this?

i like the idea of treating the water in the bowl with a pinch. I’m usually at the boat everyday but when I know we won’t be there I’ll be doing this, I’ve also noticed the nasty film after 3-4 days

Mine only cycles one time because of granules in the duck bills, then it’s fine. If you put it in at the deck plate it doesn’t get to do it’s work on the hoses, duck bills, vacuum tank, etc.

My boat does not have a smell issue, nor have any of my prior boats, so I am cautious to change the routine I follow. I do like hearing it cleans up the tank such that the monitor starts working though.

I tried it and bailed but am giving it another go this season.

One my supply is exhausted I'll make my own provided I see the results that the beleivers have.

Agree. It has cleaned up hoses and everything in between the toilet and the tank in my last two boats...
