Yep. And the idiots want to blame the guns. Why is it these happen in areas with very restrictive gun laws and more "gun free zones" than other states and municipalities? What happened to that fellow in Texas that opened fire in a church? Oh, that's right, a parishioner took him out right away....

This is kind of funny. I texted my daughter this afternoon (lives in NJ) to tell her that if she wanted to see the latest to turn on fox, they are doing a presser on the shooting. When the DA was speaking I said, Ha! well, I wonder what the world thinks of our DA
?He is arrogant. He takes no shit. And he's Good. No one here gets out on bail that shouldn't be. He is a moderate Democrat. And hard to listen to.
The fact that that kid drove here from 4 hours away to case the place and kill innocent people is just the most disturbing thing I can possibly imagine. The city is hurting, but it will heal.
I hate when down state politicians come here for photo ops. Unfortunately our new governor is from here and was a good person until she was elected to congress in our district, the most republican congressional district in NY State. She stuck her nose so far up some Washington butts that we threw her out after one term. Cuomo would never come here because we hated him so much so he tagged her as lieutenant gov for our votes because it was doubtful even Buffalo would vote for him. Now she’s in charge because his shit caught up to him.
We just can’t catch a break.
The Mayor that you’ve met the last few days, you may recall, was defeated by a young progressive in a primary last year because he was lazy and didn’t think a progressive could win.
Well they win when nobody except young progressives vote and the incumbent doesn’t campaign because he thinks he’s safe.
He successfully managed a write-in landslide victory in the fall because those people downtown got out and voted to make up for their laziness. They are not interested in progressives. The lousy governor and our limp senators all backed the progressive too because now she had the D in front of her name. Threw mayor Brown right under the bus. Scum.
Also. One must be careful not to think all of NY is under ridiculous gun laws like NYC. Buffalo is not, at least not yet. And our republican sheriff and that DA won’t issue on the safe act because it’s unconstitutional in their mind.
They’ll bring charges on it now.
The whole law was just theater as a reaction to Sandy Hook.
Can’t wait to see what the reaction to this is. I hate all politicians that act like politicians.
Pray for our city, it could use it right now.

I don’t even want to get into it… but my god I don’t understand the logic of some Americans. Yes sure guns arn’t the problem.. but the fact sick individuals can get their hands on automatic rifles with ease is clearly the problem. Where were you guys when this sick fuck was shooting up kids in an elementary school? I guess having no laws and letting everybody carry a gun didn’t work this time eh… that’s right, because nobody should have to be carrying a gun in an elementary school to “protect” themselves.
Just going to leave it at that…I’m almost positive we have more sick individuals in Canada living in this shit country, but an event like this is so rare. Weekly events down South now. Crazy.

No, you're pretty dumb if you don't realize these all happen in gun free zones, where law abiding citizens don't carry. They don't happen where people carry for a reason - the cowards don't want people who will fight / shoot back.
