I would like to announce the working prototype of a Keypad I have developed to replace the OEM EIM keypads. These keypads completely integrate into the existing vessel's EIM system without replacing relay boxes, re-wiring or temporary repairs. I am going into production now and should have a limited quantity available in 1-2 months. Keypads will be fully water proof, UV protected and fixes some of the reliability design flaws of the OEM version. PM me if interested.

Pictures here are functional prototypes. Minor differences in the production version.

These include a few additional features from OEM:
- Addition of underwater light button which can be customized/programmed to whatever circuit your underwater lights are connected to
- Addition of hatch enable button to enable to up/down buttons to protect accidental hatch lift
- Working on NMEA 2000 integration so that MFD can control all the same circuits the physical buttons can control

See video link to see unit working.

Pricing still being finalized but targeting $800/each (subject to change). I have a large investment into this product and it's very difficult to get ROI with low quantities.

What kind of warranty will these carry?

Great news!
I hope you start on the early-2000’s 280 Sundancer next. Mine are working fine, as of now, but that was yesterday.

Question: What if the problem is with the “control box” part of the system and not the button dash pad? Do you have a product or repair plan for that part of the system?

I am interested in new key pads for my 2002 Sea Ray 300 Sundancer
Please let me know if you intend on making replacement pads for my application. I am actively looking now for replacements or work around. Good luck!

I have a 2220 280 sundancer the port side control panel is not working. Do you make a replacement for this.

These are awesome as stated. Please keep us up to date with your different styles as they come available. I am sure there will be a ton of interest and need.

Hi All,
Yes I am working on these style of keypads. I have starboard prototype working, but waiting on my first production order of above keypads to come in before going forward with these. I am looking for port side keypad to get exact dimensions. PM me if you have something available.

Regards, Chris

Still to be determined, but I'm thinking minimum 1 year warranty. 30 day returns. Also planning to offer loaner test units in case people want to test if their issue is keypad or EIM. To be honest, all of these details I haven't worked out yet, but I'm pretty reasonable and would want people to be happy.

I have a 290 sundancer. The hatch lift buttons light up but don’t work. I got the hatch open manually and verified the actuator functions when attaching leads to the battery. The transom door relay is opening and closing when the door switch is activated. I checked the fuse in the eim in the engine compartment and verified it is not popped out. What are the chances the buttons are not sending a signal. Not sure what to check next as I can’t find a wiring diagram.

I am fairly certain this is the issue I have. I would like to purchase one these these.

Wow. This is so needed. I have a 2003.5 SDA 340 Sundancer. I am in desperate need of a port side switch panel part number 1810625 (kidney shape) but would also be happy to buy both to just swap out both sides. Do you have this part available yet? Is it one you will be making? If so any idea when it would be ready for purchase? Thanks!

Pyro, this is great to hear. How are you coming along with the starboard and port side kidney shaped modules? I have a 2002 300 Sundancer and starting to have problems. I would love to avoid going somewhere else because a plug and play version without having to rewire the whole system would be ideal.

Hi, thanks for the interest. I did decide to delay my original plans of eyebrow only, and tackle the kidney style, so this took longer than my initial estimate. The last few production components are just finishing and shipping next week, so I hope to have it available for testing in a month. I've been a bit quiet because I don't want to commit to any dates, but I'm getting pretty close.

If you are committed to waiting, please PM me so I can plan accordingly.

Also, if anyone is nearby in CT or Long Island Sound and interested in testing please PM me. I have one or two people in Long Island, but the closer the better.

Good morning Pyro. If I read your email right, you're making them? If so, how much, and how do I get one? My email address is: Harleyd558@gmail.com.

Below is the picture of my switch panel. I NEED THE STARBOARD PANEL.
