I need a system monitor panel for a 1999 480 DB. This panel is black, with an outline of a boat and with red led indicators, as follows:

I have contacted the manufacturer and they no longer produce this unit.

Does the manufacturer have any tech data? These things are pretty simple and it should be repairable.

Best regards,

The panel in the photo was sent to the manufacturer. They confirmed it was dead, and non repairable, as the units are potted (components sealed in expoxy). They will not supply a schematic as this is a Sea Ray signature part, albeit obsolete and unavailable from any dealer.

bastards.

On the other hand, it's just a couple of transistor switches for isolation. If I remember correctly, the thing doesn't measure voltages for temp or oil pressure, it has switch closure sensors that are redundant with the resistance senders for the gauges. You should be able to throw something together with nothing more than a few LEDs, current limiting resistors and a voltage regulator. It's not much more than a simple kid's project.

Jacob,

I already sent you a private message. for those of you who have this board, my company Logic Level Technologies, Inc. now repairs this obsolete board. Sea Ray is also aware of this and has contacted all service reps. of this. You can check out our company at "logicleveltech.com"

updating to Sea Ray's LCD system monitor display is some what costly, approx. $2500.00 and the newer LCD display is smaller than the cut out hole for the LED display.

As a former Sea Ray owner im glad to help anyone out with this issue.

LLTINC:

I threw you some green ....

You didn't come here advertising, but istead, you responded with a solution to a guy with a problem.

I think some one else here way back had the same issue, but I don't remember now....

I don't remember his user name but it's probably the same guy who originally contacted me locally asking if i'd help him out, I suppose I was his last resort after exhausting all other efforts....again...as a former sea ray owner I decided to take a look at the boad for him, not only did I repair his board but also repaired the spare board he had that didn't sound the alarm. this board has a CMOS chip on it which means it's static sensitive, his boat was not hit by lightening but I guess the energy in the area from a lightening storm was enuf to damage the board.

I plan to send my dead panel to LLTINC for repair. He will do what Sea Ray & its suppliers are unable/unwilling to do.

I'm sure there are many Sea ray owners with late 90's boats with the same problem. Hats off to LLTINC.

What would you suggest needs to be done? If I could make a plate up and insert LEDs, I would only need to find out what kind of cable plugged into the fuse block board.

WOW ... I know this is a long shot as the thread is over 6 years old. But this Systems Monitor board is IDENTICAL to mine with the blown resistor. My boat is a 1991 420 Sundancer. Any thoughts on where to send it? Get a replacement? The blow resistor value? Any help at al greatly appreciated.

Hi do you still do this work. I have the lcd display version of this panel in my 03 sea ray. The device works but the lcd is faded out

Bump... Has anyone found a replacement or a way to repair this? I am in the same position.
