Hello Sea Ray Lovers,
I'm looking to purchase a 420 Sedan Bridge. Preferably on the Great Lakes.

Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Terry

Welcome, Terry. Is there a range/budget you're working within? Many times folks around here provide some really good insight in terms of moving around in sizes and years to hit target budgets....

Not much up that way. Think there is a blue 42 listed for 335 that is under contract. Maybe one other 44 DB in Wisconsin? All are way over 300k.

Inventory is low right now. Not many around, especially in your area.

Then you have to find a slip. Down around me there is nothing for 45’ +

Weird times. Boats in the greater Chicago area are few and far between. But my marina has never recovered from the 2008-09 debacle. Plenty of slips both big and small. Others in the area are essentially full but the demand hasn't made it to us yet, I guess.

We were in your shoes early in the pandemic and picked up a 2004 420 sedan bridge here in the Great Lakes that hadn't even hit the market yet (traded by original owner for a smaller boat). I read this forum beginning to end before we bought it. We thought they were hard to find then, but now they seem even more scarce, especially in fresh water. Sheer luck that we were able to scramble a 50' slip that can accommodate her and the hydraulic lift... happy hunting!
