Anyone know this 51DA ?

Looked at the ad, ugh. Not for me. Looks to be a party boat as well, which is not necessarily a bad thing.
 
Seems like a rather solid price for a 510? That hull though....I don't think I could do it. I also prefer the separate mid-cabin stateroom layouts they have in the 480's. I feel like this floor plan is more for the grand parents that occasionally have a grandkid or two aboard. For the parents that always have the kids aboard, I need a real wall...and a real door. :)
 
Well the good new is the hull is only a wrap. Definitely not my choice of color either. I'd much prefer the white gelcoat.

The big question is what damage or blemish might be hiding under the wrap! Just like Christmas, you won’t know what’s in there until you unwrap it.

That happened to me years ago on a sun deck where the guy put these weird Native American stickers above the rub rail center cockpit…. When I bought the boat first thing I said is I got to get those stickers off. Every sticker covered a gouge…. Fortunately I could repair them like new with spectrum…. But learned my lesson there
 
The 510 is pretty big for a 51' foot boat and it's all in the bow. The cabin is huge with almost 7' of headroom but I'm not sure the cockpit is much bigger than your 45. I have 3 kids and personally like the 2nd bunk stateroom with attached head and shower. My twin boys share the bunk stateroom and my daughter gets the convertible sofa that is closed off by a privacy curtain that hides in pocket when not in use. We love the boat and it handles the waters of Lake Michigan like a champ.
 
Looking at it again, that black does have kind of a "bad arse" look to it. I saw an all black, top and bottom, brand new 50'+ Cruisers Yachts in Kent Narrows last week, definitely a sexy head turner. I would not want to keep it clean or be on the water in it on a hot day.
 
I like the interior. Not so much the black hull and I would be afraid of what the wrap hides.

Party boat? What makes you say that?

I kind of thought the same thing only from the numerous speakers on the sides and hardtop.
 
Not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing but I was able to find an original ad for the boat posted for sale in Oct 2020. Either not much of a market for the 51 or it's beat. Guess I will find out on Saturday.

Looks like the wrap was placed sometime between Oct 2020 and Aug 12, 2021, also 130hrs was put on the engines in that same period.
 
Have you considered making offer based on seeing it unwrapped. I doubt it would fly, but who knows. I would be very concerned whats under the wrap. Is it possible pictures where taking while it was being wrapped.
 
If your looking for a 510 . I have a friend with probably the cleanest open check book taken care of 510 . It is in Kentucky. This boat needs nothing done to it.
They are priced a little high however you wont have to spend for all the upgrades done to it and all the 1000 hour service was just done along with bottom job.

Thanks for the heads up. I have a feeling between them being priced a little high and the challenge/cost of getting it to the Chesapeake Bay makes this boat over my budget.

I spoke to soon. I text him for the link to the ad. They sold it 4 weeks ago for 290,000
