Location?
I live in Orange, Connecticut and store the boat for the winter in my yard. My slip is in Bridgeport, Connecticut which is about 20 minutes away. The boat is in its slip until mid-October at which time I’ll trailer it home.

Guys- thanks for the kind words. I am really surprised I don’t have more activity on it yet :(

Your motor looks very clean ... Did you do the rebuild or did you have it done? Was it a "manifolds and risers" replacement or a full rebuild? Impressive looking ER, and a light? Sweet!

I bought a longblock and ended up have the company re-assemble it and test it before shipping it back. I ended up replacing the intake manifold, thermostat housing, fuel pump, manifolds and risers, y-pipe, oil cooler, motor mounts and my billing address so my wife could not see the bills at some point :):)

Whoever ends up with this boat will be very happy:)

Also - standard in this boat are three lights in er.

A lot of folks dont want to buy now even though it might be a little cheaper. They dont want to store and make payments on a boat they cant use for 6 months. Don’t worry, that will sell. The price is certainly fair.

That is a sweet boat, obviously very well maintained. I wish I was ready to go bigger right now.

why dont these boats hold any value? I'm realizing now just how totally fucked I am on my 260 dancer flip. if this thing hasn't been bought in 1 week as clean as it it at the price being asked I don't know what anyone is gonna buy. something brand new like this is easily 150k.

Because unlike a stripped down CC with outboards there are a lot of ‘comfort’ systems that break, wear out, need maintenance and upkeep. As they get older more things were out.

Meh, that makes no sense and you haven't been on a center console lately. They have just as many I'd not more systems than these older cruisers. But when someone has clearly maintained and or refitted you would think they could still command a good price. Oh well. Looks like I just pissed away about 30k

You are right. I haven’t been on a CC in years. I missed when they added aft cabins, AC, showers, refrigerators, cooking facilities, someplace to crap besides a 5 gallon bucket, & flat screen tv to CCs. They got all the comforts these days. Very cosmopolitan.

lol. They ain't cheap either. But in all seriousness, these sea rays that can be slept on with reasonable comfort should hold much more value than what they seem to be. Of course, I'm using internet listings as a source but it's possible many of these boats get traded in or sold locally in short order and don't make it out to the internet. I just don't like how people seem to think fiberglass magically goes bad after 10 years and price should drop in the toilet. There are 20 year old contender center consoles selling North of 200k fully refit. A refit cruiser should sell for big dough with the added systems in working order

Wet man, nobody gets into this hobby expecting to make money or break even. Its 3rd behind airplanes and horses, (owned horses i know, fkn vets and ferriers every month). Close to 70 and still working so i can float knowing i got to get out of this lifestyle the day i quit.
Sorry you spent 30k you didnt plan to. Some on here spend that on winterizing and storage, some spend that on summer fuel. Not really into whinnying about money spent on a boat website. I spent all summer on blocks and $3k on an overheating problem. It is. Good luck. I mean in good way, reach out, good people on here always will help.
