I have never had a new car or new anything before. By choice because you can find great used cars. Boats? Just don't trust a used purchase enough so I went new. I am a boat freak and lake freak, but not a fisherman. I just like to party and chill, music, etc. I've always loved Sea Rays bc we had one as a child, I know they are good boats.
I just ordered:
2022 Lagoon Blue 190. The whole hull is going to be that color, beautiful. The color of the meth on Breaking Bad (not by choice, coincidence). I want to name the boat Walt's Fault (that randomly popped into my head) but I may get some resistance there lol. I didn't pile on the unnecessary options but I did get what I think is absolutely ESSENTIAL:
First order of the day was engine upgrade to 250hp. I don't want the boat to bog down when loaded, and I'm sure it will haul ass quite well. I want the biggest engine available.
Next I upgraded the sound system to the 1600 watt with woofer.
Added stainless steel package, the good cover that covers all vulnerable areas, and the LED lighting. Also, added the battery upgrade....you can't have a boat like this and run these accessories with one battery! Apparently there is no battery switch (the red thing) like I"m used to; it just does its thing automatically.
Paid about $60,000 out the door after TT&L, fees. I figure prices will just keep rising.
What do you guys think? How will that 250 upgrade run????? This stereo had better rock. LED lighting I hope is nice too, bc that's something easily done aftermarket. I bought this sight and drive unseen. Now I have to wait until next season, lol. It's not going very fast.
