Jim, I feel for ya. I spent 6 years as the CFO for an 80 attorney law firm, and they were easier to satisfy than this bunch. :smt043

On the other hand, that's what makes this place great. I have a friend with a Chap and he was telling me how great their forum was. It is a joke compared to this. No where even close to the knowledge that exists here, and of course moderated by the factory.:smt009

You are doing us all a great favor by hosting this site, and I hope everyone realizes that.:smt038

I REALLY enjoy and appreciate this site. Thank you to everyone who contributes knowledge, moderating and even dumb stuff which gives the humorists in us out there foder to entertain us on a slow day.

So how do you see the reputation "comments" left for you?

/idiot.

Go to UserCP, then on the left of the screen select and click "Edit Options".

Now, if there was way to see other member's point score it might be more helpful.

I can see the number of points... but not comments left. No biggie, but it seems crazy to have to go back to everythread to see what the comments may have been.

On the right side of this screen, under "Site Navigation" click on "Memberlist."

On that page by the column headings click on "Reputation."

The members will be sorted by reputation, hight to low.

If you found this post helpful please clink on ...........

By the way Frank, you are way out front.

wooohoooo, made it into the top 30.

pppft...Im turning mine off. Retarded. I went from 41 points to 25, and the most ridiculous part is I have no idea why. The least it could do if you look in your CP is to tell you WHAT post(s) you lost points on.

I think I am going to go around and abuse the system and just take points off from random people because Im grumpy.

I'm empty right now but as soon as my green giving power comes back I will hit you up with the good stuff.

BTW, I have never given anything except "I approve" and I add a comment most of the time.

Thanks bro...but its ok. I mean, the intention should have been to give points for pertinent facts regarding specific questions about boating. So even in your case of giving to me just to boost is the wrong way to use such a system(though I really do appreciate your kindness, of course...very cool of you!)

Its simply stupid that people can give you bad ratings just because they dont like you or because they dont agree about a joke or posting in jest (though again, have no idea how I lost 20 points in 2 days?)

I as well have NEVER given anyone a bad rep point. Not once. DOnt intend to unless someone posts something that is obviously dangerous to a fellow boater or simply poor advice.

I read through my last couple of days of posting, and have no idea where I lost the points, so Ill just assume there is a person or two whoa re just being an ass.

I do agree with you and I also voted to not have the reputation system.

I also just got a negative “I disapprove” from xxxxxxx. He dinged me on this post
http://clubsearay.com/forum/showthread.php?p=120482#post120482

Ironically I had given him positive “I approve” on previous posts of his.

Like you I also have never given negative feedback. I usually run out of positive feedback every day.

This is not a board of webmasters like Jim is use to where these things are taken serious and work. This is a general hobby forum and its dividing the members into two main groups, those that want to mess the system up and give negative hits and those that are upset over it.

post edited. Someone else copied this persons post and made it look like it was him.
