I wanted to start this thread because in my 30+ years of boating I have always thought there has to be a better shoe. While I have owned about every shoe out there I came accross these a few months back on Amazon and ordered a pair. WOW these are awesome. I wanted to share the link as I find these the best shoes ever while working and even playing on the boat. They can get wet and dry quickly, super light and easy on and off. They feel like an expensive pair of Nike's but cost fractions. This is my go to shoe now when I have wear one...

I can’t wear shoes on the boat I’m always taking them off to go inside blah blah
I’m always bear foot do you guys wear them inside? Or just around the dock?

rarely on the boat
Always around the dock. Usually keep them on the swim platform when docked.

I’m wearing shoes more often on deck since I smashed my little toe on a railing last year. It hurt like the dickens and turned all sorts of colors.

I have a pair of shoes that have never been worn off the boat. Provides arch support while moving around. Not end of the world if I step inside with them on. Never downstairs. I have some docking shoes that I slip on if I am stepping off the boat.

I have a pair and like them a lot, also have a couple pairs of sketchers.
Damn if wife finds out we’re talking about shoes she will want to sign on.

I wore Sperry's for years and for the last few I've been wearing Margaritaville boat shoes. Very comfortable and have tremendous grip on a wet deck.

Same. Good quality flip flops here and always bare foot on deck.

I also crunched a toe on a rail stanchion this year 4th of July weekend. I hate that.

The problem I have with traditional boat shoes is they feel best worn without socks. And then with the heat of summer my feet sweat and the insoles start to stink like something died in them. This is a major reason I wear Crocs to the boat - they wash out easily.

I have been wearing sperry’s for as long as I can remember ...never a problem with odor...if anything they wear out too soon

I am a Sperry flip flop lover but I hate top-siders....
